Saras and Kumud update Friday 6 June 2025

The episode begins with Kumud making an effort to bring the brothers together by urging them to perform the aarti jointly. She offers the aarti to both Saras and Danny, who look visibly hurt but participate nonetheless. Kumud expresses her gratitude to the Goddess, while Ghuman watches silently. Badi Maa then joins Saras in completing the aarti ritual. Kumud watches with tears in her eyes, silently promising to make things right. Saras apologizes to Kumud before leaving. Badi Maa comforts Kumud, reminding her of the hardships of Vanvas and encouraging her to stay strong. Kumud’s family then departs.

Later, Kumud notices Saras and he takes her aside in her room. He questions her intentions—whether she meant to hurt him or simply call him for the aarti. Saras gently bandages her injured hand and instructs her to apply ointment twice daily. Kumud explains that the wound must be treated to prevent it from worsening. Saras reflects on the broken trust between himself and Danny, acknowledging the painful truth they must face before leaving.

Danny heads to the kitchen and watches Saras, remembering their recent conversation. Saras too recalls Danny’s words and wonders why Danny harbors such hatred toward him. Kumud observes the tension between the brothers and resolves to give Saras time. Saras calls Mr. Tripathi, apologizing for the late notice and mentioning some important paperwork he needs to complete, thanking him politely.

The next morning, Kumud inquires with Kusum about Saras’s whereabouts. Kusum replies that he went to the site and has not eaten anything. When asked about Danny, Kusum says he hasn’t eaten either and misses Saras deeply—he was even staring at Saras’s photo the previous night. Kusum worries about how they can bring the brothers together. Kumud remains hopeful and suggests they perform the aarti together again. She ponders ways to clear up the misunderstandings, suspecting that Ghuman might have influenced Danny and that Kabir could be supporting the man involved in the conflict.

At the site, Saras asks someone to show him the design plans just as Kumud arrives. He inquires about her hand, and she reassures him it’s healing. Saras instructs everyone to continue working. Kumud speaks with the supervisor, who advises her to convince Saras to take a break and eat, explaining he’s been working without water. Saras, however, insists that everyone take a half-hour break while telling Kumud to head home. Kumud declares she won’t eat either. Later, Saras eats from a tiffin box and Kumud shares the meal with a smile, apologizing for forcing him to eat. Saras receives a phone call and leaves, mentioning Tripathi’s name, which makes Kumud wonder why Saras is not speaking openly in her presence.

Saras tells the caller he will arrive at Tripathi’s place in half an hour. Kabir approaches Saras and shows him a presentation, which Saras agrees to review. Kabir offers to drive Kumud home, but she declines, choosing to walk. On her way, Kumud notices Kabir’s car left unlocked and decides to check it just as Kabir approaches.
