Saras and Kumud update Saturday 7 June 2025

The episode opens with Kabir walking toward his car. Kumud notices him approaching and becomes anxious, quickly hiding. Kabir receives a call from a doctor regarding Laxminandan. He insists they follow his instructions precisely, warning that he cannot be deceived at this critical moment since he’s so close to achieving his goal. Kabir then drives off. Kumud watches him thoughtfully, wondering what Kabir was referring to and why Saras had gone to see a lawyer.

Meanwhile, Saras meets with the lawyer who asks if he truly wants to transfer everything to Danny. Saras confirms, signs the documents, and thanks the lawyer before leaving. At Saras’s home, Badimaa arrives with prasad for the children but finds no one there. Ghuman answers the door and tells her the house is empty. Badimaa decides to come back later, but Ghuman tells her to call beforehand next time to save time. This leads to a sharp exchange between them.

Ghuman mocks Badimaa, who retorts that she now understands why Ghuman never accepted her daughters. Badimaa scolds Ghuman, who reacts angrily but falls silent upon seeing Saras. Saras greets Badimaa warmly and asks why she looks upset.

She claims all is fine but admits she is annoyed because Saras has forgotten her since his marriage. Saras apologizes and embraces her. She invites him to sit with her, but Ghuman stops her at the door. Saras escorts Badimaa inside, while Ghuman watches with suspicion, thinking Saras always listens to Badimaa and resolving to keep a closer eye on her.

Kumud returns home and overhears her parents discussing Laxminandan. Guniyal mentions that Kumud will be hurt since Saras is currently upset with her. She reveals that Kabir provided some money, calling it rent, but they intend to use it for educating poor children instead.

Guniyal praises Kabir’s generosity. Kumud reflects on how Kabir has won everyone’s hearts, though they don’t see what she sees. Thinking Kabir isn’t home, Kumud decides to investigate his room. She also talks to Vidyachatur, hoping Saras and Danny will reconcile soon. When she asks about Badimaa, Guniyal says she has gone to the temple. Kumud plans to fetch some books and is offered help by Kalika, who taunts her.

Kumud fires back, telling Kalika there’s no need to hide or run from goons since their house is safe, and advises her to mind her own business. Later, Badimaa and Saras discuss Kumud. She asks if he still plans to leave after Navratri, lamenting that he never confides in her because she always knows what’s in his heart.

Saras replies that if he doesn’t leave, Danny will, and nothing else can change that. Badimaa urges him to try, but Saras admits he has and wants to let it go now. He feels Danny is hurt by his presence and leaving would be best. She questions what about Kumud—can he stay without her?

Saras admits he hasn’t thought of that. After their mother, Danny was like family to him, and he helped raise him just as Badimaa raised him. Kumud taught him how to live, and without both of them, he feels empty. Badimaa tells him not to think about leaving, but Saras insists it’s necessary for Danny’s happiness. She asks about his own happiness, leaving him upset.

Meanwhile, Kumud notices the lock on Kabir’s room and suspects he is hiding something. She checks the windows and manages to open one, slipping inside. She searches his room and laptop but can’t access his passwords.

She examines his cupboard and is startled to find a model of a house. Thinking about Kabir and his help to her family, she grows more suspicious. Kabir returns home and unlocks his room. Kumud realizes Kabir is planning something big that could threaten their home.

Hearing Kabir approach, Kumud quickly hides. Kabir notices his drawers are open and some books are out of place. He wonders how this happened. Spotting the open window, he looks outside cautiously, unaware that Kumud is hiding nearby.
