Saras and Kumud update Monday 2 June 2025

The episode begins with Kabir asking Saras to sit in the car while he drives. They set out to find Kumud. Saras appears worried, and Kabir reassures him, saying they will find her. Kabir expresses how moved he is by Saras’s deep care and concern for Kumud, confessing that he has never loved anyone like this before. Curious, Kabir asks Saras about his love story. Saras replies that it’s a long story.

Saras explains that their marriage was arranged by his father, but he initially did not believe in marriage and had written a letter rejecting Kumud. She responded, asking him to tell her ‘no’ in person, not through a letter. They had a video call where he couldn’t see her properly but still felt a connection. When they finally met after a long time, they fell in love. However, Saras admits his fears took over — he was scared that whoever he loved would leave him, just like his mother did.

Suddenly, Kabir brakes sharply. Saras asks what’s wrong, and Kabir says it’s just the school. Saras goes to check.

Meanwhile, Danny is excited and confident that Saras will be proud of him when he shares some news. He also wants to tell Kabir. But when he opens his suitcase, he finds no samples inside — only packets of drugs. Shocked, Danny rechecks the suitcase.

Back with Saras, he informs Kabir that Kumud hasn’t come to school and he’s tried calling her. Vidyachatur calls Saras, mentioning that Kalika said Saras came looking for Kumud, but Ghuman said no one was at home. Saras confirms Kumud is missing despite his searches. Vidyachatur tells Kabir to come with him, and they decide to go to the market. Saras and Kabir continue searching for Kumud.

Saras tells Kabir that Kumud is nowhere to be found. Kabir tells him not to worry and suggests going to the police station. Just then, Kumud calls Saras. Saras asks where she is and if she is okay. She says she just reached home. Saras is angry and tells her to come home so they can talk.

When Saras arrives, he hugs Kumud and scolds her for going out without informing anyone. He was worried and was planning to go to the police. Saras asks where she went. Kumud says she was looking for something. Saras presses for details, but Kabir interrupts. Kumud tries to cover, saying she had to go to school, but Saras points out she didn’t go today. Kumud lies again.

Saras questions why Kumud didn’t wake him up. She says she thought she’d return quickly. Kabir says he will leave now. Saras thanks Kabir for his help and tells Kumud that Kabir postponed an important meeting because she was missing. Kumud apologizes.

Saras shares his concern that Danny declined to attend an important meeting due to other commitments, suspecting that Danny is hiding something. Kumud reassures him she will speak with Danny. Saras admits he worries about Danny and says he will meet the investors and return.

Kumud reflects on her lie to Saras since she hasn’t found any proof against Kabir yet. She knows she must uncover the truth about Kabir and Ghuman’s plans.

Danny arrives home visibly stressed. Kumud asks why he looks so troubled. Danny says he is tired and needs rest. Ghuman asks about his meeting, but Danny deflects, saying they will talk later. He takes the suitcase and says he needs to be alone, apologizing.

Ghuman calls Kabir, asking why Danny is upset. Kabir reassures her that good news is coming and tells her not to question anything and just trust him. He says Danny will have to endure some pain for a few days, and everything is unfolding as planned. Ghuman is suspicious, wondering what Kabir is doing with her son.

In his room, Danny hides the suitcase and frantically searches through it. Kumud enters and asks what’s going on. Danny denies anything, but Kumud insists he share the truth. She reminds him they are family and should face problems together. Danny hesitates but finally confesses that Kabir brought a project to him after Saras rejected his ideas.

Danny reveals that there were drugs in the suitcase. He explains that the man at the meeting threatened him with pictures of him carrying the drugs and gave him two options: accept money and cooperate or refuse and go to jail. Danny says the man claimed they want trustworthy people for their business, and that’s why they caught him.

Danny admits he even kept some drugs at home out of fear. Kumud comforts him, promising nothing bad will happen if they report everything to the police. Danny says he is afraid it will hurt the family. Kumud insists that the man is scaring him and that he should not have brought the drugs home.

Danny asks what he should do now. Kumud says Kabir isn’t involved in this and believes Saras and Danny will trust her. She tells Danny to inform the police, confident that Saras will believe them and protect them. But Saras insists the meeting should finish before he tells Danny.

Suddenly, Ghuman arrives and asks what’s happening. She looks around the messy room and questions Kumud. Kumud explains Danny lost his file and she was helping him find it. Danny quickly lies and leaves.
