Anupama update Friday 13 June 2025

The episode opens with Dolly complaining to Baa that Mummy is still favoring Prem. Toshu adds that Mummy gets angry whenever anyone speaks against Prem. Dolly wonders what spell Prem has cast on her that she refuses to see his faults and urges Baa to kick him out.

Pakhi chimes in, saying that Mummy will never go against Prem and encourages Dolly that she’s the one who can get Prem out. Toshu warns that if Prem ever traps Pari or Ishu, he’s just a servant dreaming of becoming a son-in-law.

Meanwhile, Prem confronts Mahi, asking what her problem is and why girls lose confidence when called fat or insulted. He tells her she has no flaws, but he admits he has his own imperfections and asks her not to repeat such things. Mahi breaks down in tears.

Prem recalls Rahi’s words and gently tells Mahi that he doesn’t love her but likes her and is willing to give their relationship a chance. Mahi feels hopeful and reaches out her hand. Prem clarifies that he’s not promising love but is willing to try and asks if she’s willing to wait for love or live waiting forever. Holding her hand, Prem asks her to think it over. Mahi confesses she loves him and will wait until the day he loves her too. Prem reflects that he’s doing this for Rahi and Anu Ma’am.

Baa questions Anupama about sending Prem to Mahi’s room, remarking that she’s become modern. Anupama explains that Prem needs to talk to Mahi. Mahi arrives with Prem, hugs Anupama, and says Prem will stay with her and their relationship will happen. Anupama gets emotional and asks Prem if Mahi is telling the truth. Prem promises to support Mahi and never cause her pain. Anupama thanks him.

Baa dismisses this as a movie plot, saying real life begins after films end, and asks Mahi where she plans to stay. Mahi replies she’ll stay wherever Prem keeps her. Baa reminds them that even Pakhi once had love fever but returned from her in-laws soon enough and asks Anupama to explain things to them.

Anupama states that a home doesn’t run on love alone and questions what they think. Prem admits he hasn’t thought much and needs time to figure things out since he lacks clarity. Toshu presses Prem to say whether he wants to marry Mahi or not. Ansh recalls that Prem initially said he didn’t love her, and now he’s ready to marry. Prem responds that he still has questions and needs time. Ansh and Toshu ask how much time he needs. Anupama agrees with Prem, saying it’s a matter of two lives and decisions shouldn’t be rushed. Mahi tells Prem to take care as he leaves, glancing at Rahi.

Baa questions Anupama how Prem agreed so quickly. Anupama assures her Prem won’t do anything wrong. Baa disagrees, warning that Prem might change his mind the longer he takes. She reminds everyone that love marriages have always failed in their family so far, and while Anupama’s marriage lasted 26 years, her love marriage with Anuj couldn’t survive even 26 months. She warns that if anything goes wrong, Anupama will be blamed. Pakhi remarks that Mummy will get badly trapped.

Later, Anupama thanks Prem for agreeing despite not loving Mahi, asking if he’s acting on his own will or helplessness, and tells him not to lie as she places her hand on his head. Prem admits he doesn’t love Mahi and isn’t sure if he ever will, calling it life. Rahi watches silently. Anupama recalls how she felt a past connection with Prem when they first met and trusted him after he searched for her daughter and became part of their family.

She stresses that she hates lies and liars. Anupama confronts Prem about his relationship with Prarthana, mentioning she saw them hugging, and demands to know what kind of relationship they share. Prem denies any connection, saying Prarthana was emotional and hugged him. Anupama reminds him that trust can’t be broken repeatedly. Prem promises not to break her trust and vows to support Mahi.

Later, Rahi packs a food parcel as Prem arrives. She gets emotional, struggling to tie a thread around the box and accidentally tangling herself. Prem wipes her tears, helps her free the thread, and a song plays in the background. Prem mimics her actions with a rubber band and reflects on how much he loves her, having let go of his stubbornness. Rahi thinks she understands that Prem did all this for Mummy and her, sacrificing his own love, just as she has sacrificed hers for Mummy’s happiness.

Pakhi urges Mahi to marry Prem before he changes his mind. Mahi replies that Prem needs time. Pakhi warns that Prem might fall for Rahi instead, shocking Mahi.

Prem, overwhelmed, throws things around and hurts himself. Rahi asks why he’s angry despite having made a decision. Prem says he promised, so he must follow through, but the pain remains. He throws something, asks if she’s hurt, then hugs and apologizes to her.

Rahi admits she hurt him and asked for sacrifice, expecting he might hate her. Prem says he could never hate her, even if she asked for his life. He says he accepted her wishes and asks her to accept his in the next life. He makes her promise, and she nods. As she turns to leave, Rahi runs back to hug him, both crying as a song plays. After the embrace, she departs.
