Saras and Kumud update Friday 13 June 2025

The episode begins with Sunanda speaking gently to Kumud, assuring her that she will help and smiling sweetly. A man arrives, and Sunanda asks him to bring hot water for her. Meanwhile, Saras, Danny, and Kabir are frantically searching for Kumud, with Saras growing increasingly worried as he fails to find any clues.

Sunanda reminisces about the past, telling Kumud how she and Ghuman used to dance when they were young. She explains that prominent businessmen would come to watch their performances and that, although she once had everything, she doesn’t understand what it was about Ghuman that made everyone captivated by her beauty.

Sunanda adds that Ghuman uses people as pawns, having destroyed everything, including Laxminandan. Saras seeks help from a local villager and reflects on the moment Kumud left.

Kumud asks how Ghuman ended up marrying Laxminandan. Sunanda replies that Laxminandan married her, but Ghuman only saw it as a business opportunity—he was unaware it was a trap rather than love. Curious, Kumud asks what kind of trap. The man brings the hot water for Sunanda’s feet, and Sunanda tells Kumud to call her family since they might be worried.

Kumud searches for her phone and asks Sunanda about it, but Sunanda instructs the man to give her the phone instead. When Kumud tries to call her family, Sunanda drops the phone into the bucket of hot water, saying with a chilling smile that once Sunanda likes someone, she never lets them go. Kumud is shocked to see this dark side of Sunanda and demands to know why she threw her phone away. Sunanda coldly replies, “What did you expect?”

Kumud reminds Sunanda that she promised to help her. But Sunanda reveals she knew from the start that no one can leave without her permission and orders Kumud to forget her old name and address because she now belongs to them. Kumud pleads, asking why she is being deceived, but Sunanda bitterly responds that life has cheated her too.

She laughs as she says Kumud is trapped in her prison, and no one from Kumud’s family will find her here. Kumud attempts to escape, but the door is locked. She calls out for help, begging Sunanda to release her. Sunanda approaches her with a sinister look, grabs her hand, and tells the man to take Kumud away, promising to instruct him later on what to do with her. Kumud cries, pleading to be set free.

The man escorts Kumud inside, and she laments trusting Sunanda. He tells her he brought her there on Sunanda’s orders, then locks Kumud in a room and leaves. Back outside, Saras continues searching desperately for Kumud, wondering where she could be and blaming himself for not stopping her from leaving. Kumud tries to open the window, struggling. Saras reflects on Kumud’s earlier words and regrets not listening to her. Both apologize quietly in their thoughts.

Kabir reports that they have checked all the bus stops but found no sign of Kumud. Kusum confirms that no one has seen Kumud today. Danny suggests they report her missing to the police, and Kabir agrees. The group heads to the police station.

Meanwhile, Sunanda calls Ghuman and tells her she’s aware of her troubles, mentioning that Kumud is missing. Ghuman is shocked and asks how she knows. Sunanda reveals that Kumud is with her and that she spoke to her about how Ghuman trapped Laxminandan.

Ghuman dismisses it as a joke, but Sunanda warns her that she won’t let anyone take Laxminandan without a fight. She boasts that Kumud, who came alone to Chandni Bazaar, is brave and that she has trapped her. Ghuman asks why Sunanda is keeping Kumud, and Sunanda replies that they will teach her dance and singing.

Kabir arrives and notices Ghuman, wondering if she heard Sunanda’s conversation. He jokingly says he forgot his phone and smiles. Ghuman denies anything, and Kabir mentions that Danny and Saras are going to the police station, saying he will join them as well before leaving.

Back at home, Guniyal comments that Badimaa has been worried since morning and now that Kumud is missing, everyone is concerned. Vidyachatur reassures that Kumud will be found. Kalika thinks to herself that she would be very happy if Kumud doesn’t return. The family remains anxious for Kumud’s safety.

Inside the locked room, Kumud struggles to get help by trying to break the window. She finally succeeds, breaking the glass and feeling hopeful.
