Anupama update Sunday 15 June 2025

The episode begins with Mahi trying to call Kavya, but Kavya doesn’t answer. Anupama reassures Mahi, suggesting that Kavya might be busy and will return the call once she sees the missed notification. Mahi, however, gets frustrated, saying a mother should always answer her child’s call and sarcastically adds that Kavya might be busy with beauty treatments to hide her age.

Anupama calmly asks her not to speak that way about her mother. Mahi comments that Anupama scolds her a lot these days, and Anupama replies that Mahi has also become quite impatient lately. Mahi reveals she wants to inform Kavya about her engagement.

Anupama affectionately asks Mahi to start calling her “Anu Maa” or “Mummy.” Mahi says she was planning to do that even if Rahi hadn’t been found, and then emotionally hugs her. Anupama promises to talk to Kavya on her behalf.

Mahi then says she wants to go shopping for her engagement. Anupama offers her debit card but reminds her not to spend too much. Mahi says she wants to buy something for everyone. Anupama encourages her to go and mentions that Prem is waiting, saying she now feels like she’s become a mother to one more child.

Later, Mahi and Prem arrive at a wedding boutique. The store manager asks if they’re interested in matching outfits. Prem lets Mahi decide, and she agrees to twin. A salesgirl heads off to bring options. Mahi casually mentions that Ansh, Pari, and Rahi have gone shopping too.

Prem silently wonders if Rahi is avoiding him and that’s why she didn’t join them. Mahi feels glad that Rahi didn’t come along. But then, unexpectedly, Prem sees Rahi in the same store trying on an orange dress and is surprised. Rahi, thinking she had come to avoid Prem, feels awkward.

They share an eye contact moment. Mahi walks up to Prem with a dress, then notices Rahi. Rahi explains that she saw a good display collection and just stepped in. She offers the dress to Mahi, but Mahi refuses.

Back at home, Anupama asks Janki Behen if the customers have settled their payments. Janki tells her not to worry and reassures her everything will be fine. She advises against spending too much since Prem’s family isn’t involved in the wedding. But Anupama says she wants Mahi to have a grand wedding—Mahi has never asked for anything in life except Prem. Suddenly, Anupama receives a message from Kavya and is shocked by its contents.

Meanwhile, Mahi feels uneasy seeing Rahi there and wonders why she always shows up between her and Prem. She convinces herself that no matter what, Prem will be hers. At that moment, Rahi slips, and Prem catches her. They both fall onto some fabric rolls. Romantic music plays in the background.

Mahi is in the changing room trying on her dress. As Prem and Rahi stand up, some store staff see them together and mistakenly assume they’re a couple. Rahi quickly clarifies that Prem is marrying her sister. The staff apologizes. Prem then adds that they do make a perfect pair. Mahi comes out and shows Prem her dress. He compliments her and says he’ll wear white, to match her orange outfit. She agrees.

Anupama tells Janki Behen that Kavya messaged her saying she won’t be able to attend the wedding due to being busy. She worries Mahi will feel bad. Janki assures her that she is more of a mother to Mahi than Kavya ever was.

Anupama says her bond with Mahi is heartfelt, not by blood. She expresses her deep love for Mahi and says she will do the kanyadaan and everything else as a mother. Janki is amazed and says Anupama is truly generous, even toward the daughter of the woman who once broke her family.

Anupama says Mahi shouldn’t suffer for someone else’s mistakes. Just then, she gets a call and walks away. Janki recalls Rahi’s confession about her love for Prem and starts wondering whether to tell Anupama the truth—breaking Rahi’s promise but potentially saving three lives.

Rahi approaches the billing counter and says she’ll get something for Anupama. Prem notices she is limping and asks what happened. Rahi says it’s just a minor sprain. Prem offers to go along with her. Mahi, sensing Prem’s concern, tells Rahi that while she respects Prem as her future brother-in-law, she should also maintain a respectful distance. She says she wants to be his friend, but doesn’t want their friendship misunderstood. She reminds Rahi that even Ansh misinterpreted things earlier, and society will too.

Elsewhere, Anupama meets a new client, a lady attending her first kitty party. The woman says she joined on her daughter-in-law’s advice. Anupama talks about how women often feel lonely once their children start their own families. The lady mentions she’ll finalize the food menu with her wife. She offers Anupama a lift, but Anupama decides to stay and review the menu.

Meanwhile, Prem reflects on Mahi and Rahi’s earlier conversation and senses something is wrong with Rahi. As they walk, a goon—who had once stolen from Prem—greets them. He reminds Prem how both he and Rahi had beaten them up, calling Rahi “Bhabhi.” He praises Prem for having such a strong partner.

Mahi hears this and becomes furious, confronting Prem about being addressed that way. Prem tries to calm her down and asks her to get into the vehicle. Rahi steps in and explains that she fought the goons just like she would for Ansh, asking Mahi not to overthink it. Mahi walks away, upset.

Rahi starts to follow her, but Prem holds her back and demands to know why she cared enough to fight for him. Rahi pulls her hand away and walks after Mahi, leaving Prem feeling even more conflicted.

At the same time, Anupama spots Prarthana at a restaurant. A photo of Prem and Rahi falls from Prarthana’s hand, and Anupama picks it up. She moves closer toward Prarthana, about to uncover yet another truth.
