Jhanak update Monday 16 June 2025

The episode begins with a heated argument between Arshi and Anirudh. He confesses, “I love Jhanak. I know your ego is hurt, but this is the truth. I’m sorry if it hurts you, but you’re my weakness. I failed to balance everything.

My life is split into two parts—please try to understand. I don’t want to hide the truth. Whenever Jhanak is in danger, I will stand by her.” Arshi demands that he never go near Jhanak again and declares she won’t free him.

Anirudh firmly replies that he will always support Jhanak. Watching silently, Jhanak feels sad and begins packing her bags, remembering Brij’s words.

The next morning, Anjana asks Anirudh about Jhanak’s whereabouts. Lal and Bipasha arrive, bothering both Anjana and Anirudh. Anjana goes to look for Jhanak but can’t find her. Lal argues with Anirudh, and Bipasha taunts him about how much he’s hurting Arshi.

Anirudh tells them both to stay out of his life. Anjana checks Jhanak’s room and then the terrace, but she isn’t there. Tanuja and Shubh come by, and Shubh mentions breakfast isn’t ready yet. Anjana offers to prepare it shortly.

Anirudh suggests maybe Jhanak went to the temple, but Anjana suspects she left since her belongings are gone. Anirudh rushes to confirm.

Anjana finds a letter Jhanak left and reads it aloud to Anirudh. Arshi arrives and everyone informs her that Jhanak has left. Anirudh is visibly shaken and declares he will find her.

Arshi coldly states that their relationship ends today and warns him. Anirudh responds that he’s already told her he’ll leave the house. Shubh scolds him for this. Arshi demands to know what he wants. Anirudh asks if she’ll give it to him, saying he doesn’t want to argue he must leave.

Arshi lashes out at Anjana, but Anirudh asks her to stop. He insists he must go. Arshi says she refuses to let him leave. He angrily argues that Jhanak saved him and he owes her his loyalty. Arshi challenges him to go, pushing him away.

Anirudh admits he’s ruined her life and wants to stop causing further pain by ending their relationship. Arshi cries and scolds him. Anirudh yells that he cannot endure the chaos anymore; his life has no peace, it’s the same painful story repeating itself. Bipasha blames him and his actions.

Lal questions why this keeps happening to him—he married Arshi but loves Jhanak. Anirudh retorts that their marriage never fully happened; they didn’t complete the rituals, and he doesn’t remember it. He says Arshi forced him to admit this—they are just living together, not truly husband and wife. Arshi shouts in disbelief as he walks away, leaving her in tears.

Later, Anirudh thinks of Jhanak and cries, saying, “I chose you. I want to live with you.” At the airport, he finds Jhanak and asks where she is going. He wonders if she heard his argument with Arshi. When she asks what was said, he replies, “Nothing.”

He admits he doesn’t want this life anymore. Jhanak reminds him he is still with Arshi. He says he knows their relationship and also the one he truly considers his wife. He confesses his love to Jhanak, who admits she loves him too. He says she always hurts him, and she responds by saying she’ll walk away.

Anirudh pleads, saying if she leaves, his pain will only deepen and he can’t live without her. She questions what about Arshi. He says he loves Jhanak, not Arshi. This isn’t the first time, and she must accept it. He can’t live a frustrated life he wants to live and love with Jhanak.

She protests, “This can’t happen.” He asks why, explaining that he can’t keep Arshi happy because his heart belongs to Jhanak. She asks if he doesn’t love Arshi, and he firmly replies that he loves Jhanak, but she just doesn’t understand.
