Soulmates update Monday 16 June 2025

The episode begins with a light moment as Sayali and Sachin bump into each other. Sachin asks her to sit down and have breakfast, but Sayali politely declines, saying she needs to go make garlands for her flower business.

Just then, Tejas enters, asking for breakfast. Sachin can’t resist taking a jab at him. Roshni gets irritated by his taunt. Sachin then gets into a verbal spat with Renu and declares that he’s not idle like Tejas—he has work to do.

A man arrives with freshly ironed clothes and hands over the bill. Sachin looks at it and comments, “₹350? Your business seems to be thriving.”

The man asks for payment. Sachin turns to Paresh and asks if the clothes belong to him. Paresh says no. Renu, meanwhile, takes the opportunity to insult Sayali, but Paresh steps in and asks her to stop.

Sachin then confronts Tejas, asking if the clothes are his. When Tejas doesn’t respond clearly, Sachin snaps, saying, “You don’t even have a job how will you pay for this?” Roshni jumps in, telling Sachin to stop humiliating Tejas. She pays the bill herself and says she’s tired of how Tejas is constantly insulted in the house.

Sachin quips that he wasn’t insulting anyone but was merely suggesting a business idea Tejas could start his own ironing shop. Renu is offended by the suggestion, saying that Tejas is educated and deserves better.

Sachin shrugs it off, insisting he’s only offering a practical solution since Tejas is unemployed. Paresh subtly stops Sachin from revealing Roshni’s parlor situation. Sachin, however, continues to joke, frustrating Renu further, who then urges Paresh to control him. Sachin leaves the house.

Later, Roshni and Tejas talk in their room. Roshni pushes him to find a job, saying she can’t bear to see him insulted anymore. Tejas looks anxious but promises her that he’ll do something about it today.

Meanwhile, Sayali is approached by her younger brother, Dilip. She notices a bike nearby and asks if it’s his. He says it belongs to a friend. She warns him against using someone else’s bike and suggests he use hers instead.

She then brings up a past mistake of his, which upsets Dilip. He tells her she never lets him forget it. Sayali apologizes and hands him some money for college fees. Dilip refuses, saying he’s working part-time to pay for it himself and doesn’t want her money. Sayali says she’s just concerned as his sister, but he gets emotional and leaves after a brief argument.

Back at home, Sachin returns, and Sayali offers to make him tea. He declines, saying he just stopped by after dropping off a customer. He asks how her flower stall is doing, and she replies that it’s going well.

Sachin suggests she should hire a helper, but Sayali says they’ll consider it later. He offers to help her himself, and when she asks how he’d manage it, he simply says he’ll figure it out. He compliments her hard work and determination.

Tejas walks in and calls everyone to gather. He says he has an announcement. Sachin mocks him, guessing he’s finally accepted his business idea.

Tejas ignores the comment and shares that he’s gotten a job. Everyone is pleasantly surprised. Tejas says he’s already joined and even received a bonus, so he brought sweets for the family.

Sachin laughs in disbelief, questioning which company gives a bonus on the very first day. Renu turns to Roshni and asks if she’s happy now. Roshni nods, smiling.

Tejas gives her sweets and then offers them to Paresh, seeking his blessings. Sachin quickly points out that Paresh can’t eat sweets, but Paresh says it’s a happy occasion and takes a little anyway. He congratulates Tejas and urges him to continue working for the sake of his family.

Sayali then asks what kind of job Tejas has taken. Sachin chimes in, pressing Tejas to share the details.
