Saras and Kumud update Wednesday 25 June 2025

The episode begins with Sunanda questioning Jugnu on how he managed to arrange such a large amount of money so quickly. She praises him but asks why he’s angry with her, saying he should have thought things through before allegedly informing the police about Kumud. Jugnu denies this, claiming he wasn’t even in Sundarnagar—he was in the city—and tells her to ask anyone if she doubts him. When she mentions the Sheikh (Saras), Jugnu assumes that means Kumud is now his. Sunanda agrees and tells him to take her. But she warns him—Kumud is a strong and clever woman. If he doesn’t control her properly, they could all land in jail. She advises him to take her somewhere far away, where no one knows them. Jugnu asks how that’s possible with the police around. Sunanda smiles and says they’ll drug Kumud and disguise her as a Rajasthani bride—her face covered, as only her husband can see it.

Meanwhile, Ghuman visits Kabir, who welcomes her with a smile and a bouquet of roses. He flirts with her, and she thanks him for everything. Kabir hints that soon she’ll be repaying him with a favor. She teasingly replies that she’s eager to see what he asks, saying he’s intriguing, so his request must be even more so. He suggests they have coffee first, and Ghuman smiles.

Back with Saras, he and Majnu go to Hari Bhai, seeking help to arrange the ransom. Hari Bhai confirms Saras’s background and reputation through a friend and agrees to lend money—though not the full amount. Saras says any amount will help. He signs the papers, and Hari Bhai gives him ₹70 lakhs. Majnu puts the money in a bag, and Saras thanks Hari Bhai, promising to repay with interest.

Now short ₹30 lakhs, Saras tries contacting Danny but can’t reach him. He sends Danny a message, asking him to arrange the remaining amount and to keep it secret from the family.

At Sunanda’s place, she is pleased with Kajal and tells her that Jugnu has paid ₹50 lakhs, so now she can finally relax. Jugnu excitedly says he has booked the tickets. Samru gives Sunanda the drugs, and she tells Jugnu they’ll dress Kumud as his bride. She instructs him to also get ready like a groom. Jugnu leaves with a smile.

Elsewhere, Vidyachatur is seen on a phone call, worried. He tells Guniyal to pack essentials—he’ll look for a rental house. Guniyal is emotional, saying everything in this home is essential, and it feels like a terrible dream. Kusum arrives with tea and tries to console Badimaa. Yash’s mother and Kalika watch. Kalika comments bitterly, saying even Kusum should have gone missing. Kusum expresses disbelief at Danny’s actions. Guniyal misses Saras deeply. Yash’s mother mocks their faith in Saras. Guniyal silently prays for Kumud and Saras’s safety.

Back with Saras, he’s anxiously waiting for Danny’s reply. He tries calling home, but Ghuman answers, prompting him to hang up. He’s unsure what to do next. Danny is driving when Saras’s message reaches him. Majnu reminds Saras that time is running out and they still need ₹30 lakhs. Meanwhile, Kumud prays for Saras to come and rescue her. The emotional track “O Piya…” plays as she looks at the door with hope.

Sunanda prepares the drug-laced water and instructs Kajal to give it to Kumud. She says although Kumud was meant to remain there, now she will leave with Jugnu as his bride. Kajal takes the food and water to Kumud, asking her to at least drink the water. She says she’ll send Kusum to serve her if needed. Kajal informs someone that once Kumud drinks the water, she’ll pass out—making it easy for Jugnu to take her away. Kusum overhears this and rushes to stop Kumud. Just then, Kumud picks up the glass and drinks the water. Kusum arrives, horrified, and shouts “Didi!” Kumud looks at her, confused.

Majnu suggests they give the ₹70 lakhs to Sunanda and ask for one more day. Saras refuses, saying Sunanda might hand Kumud over to Jugnu in the meantime—they can’t trust her. Just then, Saras gets a call from someone claiming to be Danny’s client. The caller tells Saras to come and collect the remaining ₹30 lakhs. Saras is relieved and immediately calls Danny.

Danny confirms the man is his client and asks what’s going on. Saras says he’ll explain everything after they meet, but he urges Danny to keep it secret—even from Ghuman.

Back at Sunanda’s place, she enters the room and finds Kumud unconscious. She smiles, pleased. Saras receives the ₹30 lakhs from Danny’s client, thanks him, and declares he’s coming for Kumud. Sunanda tells Kusum to call Kajal—they need to prepare Kumud as a bride.
