Anupama update Sunday 20 April 2025

Anupama asks Prem if he took the Shah kids out at night. Prem admits he knew the host. Anupama accuses him of lying, claiming he used Satsang as an excuse. She tells him that he has broken her trust and expresses her disappointment in Rahi, who is older and should have been more responsible. Anupama becomes angry with Rahi for lying. Prem justifies his actions by saying the Shahs wouldn’t have allowed the kids to go to a party. This frustrates Anupama, and in her anger, she nearly slaps him. Pakhi and Paritosh defend themselves, stating they too attend parties but never lie about it.

Anupama also criticizes the Shah kids, blaming them for the situation. Kinjal tells Pari she should lose some weight if she wants to wear tight dresses. Pari, upset, tells Kinjal to stop mentioning her weight and accuses her of being controlling. Kinjal tells Pari to stop disrespecting the family, but Pari fires back, saying the Shah family only knows how to fight and taunt each other. Pari points out that Kinjal and Paritosh are always arguing.

Ishani sides with Pari, sharing her own frustration about her modeling career. She reveals that Pakhi has been pushing her to follow her dreams of acting and gaining followers, but Ishani doesn’t want that life. She feels Pakhi is controlling her decisions.

Ansh also speaks up, saying that while the Shahs love them, they always want them to live on their terms. Mahi adds that the Shah family has never accepted her or given her the right to voice her opinions, except for Pari, Ishani, Ansh, and Anupama, who she feels truly care for her.

Pari and Ishani challenge the Shahs to speak up about their feelings. Anupama responds by asking Pari, Mahi, Ishani, and Ansh to go to their rooms. Leela, Pakhi, and Pari accuse Prem and Rahi of brainwashing the kids. Anupama tells the Shahs to reflect on what Pari, Ishani, Mahi, and Ansh have said, instead of blaming Prem and Rahi.

Anupama, feeling betrayed, asks Prem to leave the house. She scolds Rahi as well, saying she won’t allow anyone to destroy the trust she has in the Shah kids. Prem leaves, and Anupama turns to Paritosh, Kinjal, and Pakhi, asking if they now understand how it feels when children blame their parents. She decides to take charge of the household, setting her own rules. Paritosh, Kinjal, and Pakhi are left to look after Pari, Mahi, Ansh, and Ishani. Anupama ends the day by wishing Anuj a happy Diwali.
