Saras and Kumud update Sunday 11 May 2025

The episode begins with Saras embracing Kabir and expressing his gratitude. Kabir asks if he’s okay, and Saras assures him he is. Saras then invites Kabir for lunch at their home. Kumud enthusiastically agrees, adding that her husband always praises her Rajma Chawal, and Kabir should try it and tell her the truth.

Kabir initially hesitates, saying he’ll visit another day, but Saras insists, and Kabir finally agrees. Saras says he’ll inform Danny and they’ll meet soon. Saras and Kumud then head to the hospital. Vidyachatur blesses Kabir warmly as they part. At the hospital, Saras tells Laxminandan about Kabir—how he feels oddly familiar and had once given Saras a lift on his engagement day, enabling him to reach home on time. Saras says he’s looking forward to introducing them properly once Laxminandan recovers.

Meanwhile, Kalika performs a puja in front of the TV, praying to win a bet. She watches a cricket match but struggles to understand the English commentary, mistakenly thinking she’s winning. Elsewhere, Danny is watching the same match and thinking of Kusum. Kumud asks Guniyal about Vidyachatur’s whereabouts. Guniyal says he’s gone to the workshop. Kusum, lost in thoughts of Danny, smiles unknowingly. The family notices her glowing expression. Kumud teases her about being distracted, and Kusum shyly avoids responding.

At Ghuman’s side, she asks Danny for milk to make coffee. Danny says it must be finished and offers to go buy it. When she suggests calling for delivery, he reminds her they’re in a village where that’s not an option. After he leaves, Guniyal gently tells Kusum that even Danny might be thinking of her. Kusum denies thinking of Danny, and Guniyal playfully points out she never even mentioned his name.

Back at the house, Kumud is planning the dinner menu. Danny arrives to see Kusum, who runs to him with joy. She holds his hand and hugs him, saying she missed him terribly. Danny confesses he missed her too, especially while watching the cricket match. Kumud walks in on them and playfully teases, saying she’s delighted to see their love. She then informs them that Kabir has been invited for dinner and insists Danny accompany her to bring milk. Danny mentions he also needs to fetch milk, so Kumud says they’ll get it together.

Meanwhile, Kalika, still watching the match, discovers that India lost. Shocked, she realizes she’s lost the bet and panics about where to get the money to pay up.

Elsewhere, Ghuman accidentally hurts her eye while applying kajal. Kabir sees this and enters her room, offering help. She angrily asks how he came in. Kabir calmly tends to her eye and mocks her for being stubborn. Ghuman is annoyed but doesn’t resist entirely. When she asks why he’s there, Kabir says Saras invited him for dinner. Ghuman is surprised she wasn’t informed. Before leaving, she hands Kabir the ₹20 he had spent on coconut water for her. Kabir replies that it’s a Dirham, and he’ll treasure it.

Danny sees Kabir leaving the room. Kabir quickly explains he was looking for the washroom, and Danny offers to show him. Danny then calls Ghuman for dinner. She’s upset she wasn’t told about the guest. Danny explains that the dinner was spontaneous and not a celebration—just a way to thank Kabir, who saved their father and was attacked again by the same goons. Danny emphasizes Kabir’s kindness and helpful nature.

Later, Saras calls Vidyachatur and learns he plans to stay at the hospital with Laxminandan that night. Saras informs Kumud, and Kabir comments that it’s a good idea and Saras can finally rest.

At dinner, Ghuman complains the food is too oily. Kumud says she anticipated this and has made soup and salad especially for her, with traditional Gujarati flavors. Danny encourages Ghuman to try it. Kumud offers curd to Kabir, but he declines, saying he doesn’t eat curd—just like Saras. Kumud smiles and tells him to take what he prefers.

Danny receives a message from Kusum reminding him to eat. He replies that he doesn’t feel like eating, prompting her to say she won’t eat unless he does. He finally responds that he’s taking his first bite and writes “I love you.” Later, he asks for pickles at the table.

Saras asks Kabir about his work. Kabir explains that he handles quality checks in the export business, particularly in paintings and textiles. He mentions people often say he’s an expert in both. Kumud inquires why he came to Ratnagiri, and Kabir says it was to settle an old business deal. Ghuman quietly observes the entire exchange.
