The episode opens with Meher speaking to Adrija on the phone, confirming their meeting scheduled for Sunday. Afterwards, Meher discusses Adrija’s upcoming visit with Param, Harman, and Simran. Adrija expresses her excitement about their arrival. Mahua, overwhelmed with emotion, admits she can hardly believe that her daughter’s marriage is being arranged. Meghla warmly wishes Adrija well.

Ranbir admires a ring and expresses his desire to have it, calling it beautiful. Meher shares that she has informed the families that the roka ceremony will be arranged soon and that they will officially announce the developments. Simran is thrilled and mentions that both Zoravar and Ranbir’s presence will be necessary for the occasion. Meher emphasizes that Ranbir’s roka will happen no matter what.

Meanwhile, Chandan and Mahua discuss the preparations for the upcoming ceremony. Ranbir tells Meghla he wants her initials, “M,” engraved on the ring and shares her name with others. Meher suggests avoiding serving food at the ceremony, worried it may not be appropriate. Harman adds that Bengali cuisine might cause some issues. Meher points out the various cultural programs during Durga Puja and asks Harman to keep Ranbir informed.

Meghla embraces Adrija, expressing that her wish has come true. Adrija pushes her away and scolds her playfully. Ranbir insists on having the plans finalized and thanks those involved, while a man nearby advises him not to stress. Harman promises to update Ranbir once he hears back from Meher.

Meher updates everyone about Mahua and Chandan’s role in the preparations. Harman shares his excitement about welcoming a new member into the family. Simran eagerly suggests they go shopping, teasing that Ranbir doesn’t need new clothes but they all want new outfits. Meher laughs and agrees, making sure Simran understands she’ll be included. Simran reminds Meher not to leave without her, and Meher acknowledges her as the senior daughter-in-law. They plan to inform Diljot, who is close to Ranbir. Param compliments Meher, leading to laughter among them. Meanwhile, Meghla plays a song in the background.

Ranbir then calls Meghla. She questions why he didn’t call Adrija’s number and offers to pass the phone to her. Ranbir apologizes, saying he didn’t realize she was uncomfortable talking to him. Meghla clarifies she never said that. He then asks her preference between gold, diamond, or platinum gifts. Meghla insists she doesn’t like expensive gifts and that her mother would be upset if she received any; she suggests Ranbir give such gifts to Adrija instead.

Ranbir clarifies that he’s genuinely asking for her choice. Meghla firmly asks him not to give her any gifts. Ranbir replies with affection, saying nothing is more precious than her and asks her to promise not to talk about anyone else when he calls. Meghla agrees, mentioning she already received a special gift from Meher. Ranbir smiles warmly.
