Anupama update Monday 9 June 2025

The episode begins with Anupama confronting Prem, insisting that she needs an answer. Prem tries to brush it off, mentioning the milkman’s arrival and departure. Anupama insists she will find out the truth, and if Prem refuses to tell her, she will ask Prarthana directly. Prem calls Prarthana and instructs her to pretend they are strangers, telling her to deny knowing each other if anyone questions them, especially Anupama.

Meanwhile, Anupama arrives home, where Baa explains she called her urgently because Rahi is planning a picnic and, due to Kinjal’s flight being cancelled, she will also be joining. Baa expresses hope that this might help Toshu and Kinjal reunite. Anupama says all they need for the outing is simple—just bedsheets, snacks, water, and family together. Baa adds that they will need time as well, to which Anupama replies they will seize happiness regardless.

Rahi informs Prem that they will be celebrating Toshu and Kinjal’s anniversary during the picnic for Pari’s and everyone’s happiness. She asks Prem not to interfere. Prem assures her he is not foolish and explains that his actions yesterday were out of helplessness. He urges Rahi to accept his love.

As everyone prepares for the picnic, Kinjal questions the sudden plan. Pari responds casually. Prem and Rahi exchange meaningful looks, with Mahi noticing. Toshu calls Anupama, and she promises to come. Before leaving, Anupama places kajal near the deity and explains she has three goals: to talk to Mahi, understand Rahi’s feelings, and uncover the truth about Prem. She prays for guidance just as the kajal bowl unexpectedly falls. Anupama looks back but sees nothing and prays for protection. They then depart.

On the bus, Mahi expresses excitement about the picnic, and Prem agrees. He asks Ansh to play music, and Baa suggests playing antakshari. Ishu jokes it’s for old people, but Baa assures new songs start and end quickly. Ansh explains the game rules, where participants name a person from left to right without repeating names. Rahi says Anupama’s name, Anupama says Anuj’s, Mahi says Kavya’s, and Prem names Prarthana—shocking Anupama, who leaves the game.

The group reaches the villa, and Ansh notes it was expensive so they opted for a villa instead of a resort. Mahi and Prem get off first; Prem steadies Mahi as she nearly stumbles. Prem sees the name “Gayatri Nivas” and recalls his mother calling him Prem. Pari notices a painting with Prem’s name written on it. Ansh encourages everyone to relax, mentioning there is a cook. Baa asks why Prem was even brought along; Anupama reminds her he is family. Pari tells Ishu they should prepare the anniversary surprise when everyone retires to their rooms.

The caretaker greets them and approaches Prem, saying he might know him as “Kothari’s…” Prem denies it and asks for tea and snacks to be arranged. The caretaker explains the villa once belonged to a prominent jeweler from Gujarat who stopped coming after his wife’s death, and his children are missing. Since then, the villa has been rented for parties. Prem wonders why Ansh chose this bungalow.

Anupama blindfolds Toshu and Kinjal, leading them to the lawn. She removes their blindfolds and wishes them a happy anniversary, joined by everyone. Toshu thanks the group. Pari credits Rahi for the idea, expressing her desire for Toshu and Kinjal’s happiness and unity. They take Anupama’s blessings and touch her feet. Anupama performs their aarti and asks them to exchange garlands, which they do amid flower petals being showered upon them. Baa gifts anklets, which Kinjal thanks her for. Everyone presents gifts, including Anupama.

Kinjal expresses gratitude for the surprise. Emotional, they wipe their tears with Anupama’s pallu. Anupama hugs both and reflects on the evolving nature of a husband-wife relationship—how it changes over time, becoming that of parents, in-laws, and more. She emphasizes the importance of nurturing the relationship and preventing it from becoming a burden. She advises them that life reflects what one focuses on: happiness or conflict. She urges them to stay together for themselves, not for others. Pari states she only desires their happiness.

Anupama encourages them to sit and discuss how they can save their marriage by remembering the love they once shared and communicating openly. Meanwhile, Prem messages Rahi, accusing her of pushing him toward Mahi despite witnessing the loveless marriage of Toshu and Kinjal. Mahi hopes Toshu and Kinjal will find love again, but doubts their relationship will improve.
