Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 10 June 2025

The episode begins with Ghuman confiding in Kabir about the ongoing troubles at home. She tells him that Menka arrived without informing her, and warns that the next nine days will be difficult for all of them. Kabir reassures her, saying he’s ready to do whatever it takes, and tells her to focus on herself. He adds, “You have to look as beautiful as that painting — and that painting belongs to me.”

Meanwhile, Kumud visits the Puja Bhandar to inquire about a pair of ghungroos. The shopkeeper informs her that those ghungroos are not made there and might be crafted elsewhere.

At Kumud’s home, Badimaa is missing Kumud deeply and sits in her room reminiscing. She tells herself that Kumud always manages to succeed, but this time her entire family is at risk. Suddenly, a glass frame breaks as the wind howls, rattling the windows. Vidyachatur arrives and asks what’s wrong. Badimaa expresses her worries about Saras and Kumud, fearing something bad might happen to them. Vidyachatur comforts her, saying good things happen to good people, and assures her that they are with their children. Badimaa asks him to pray to the Lord that nothing bad befalls them.

The next morning, Saras wakes up to find Kumud packing a few things. She tells him she needs to go somewhere and places a note beside him. Saras asks if it’s really necessary to leave, and Kumud replies affirmatively, explaining that it’s her friend’s mahendi ceremony today and all women are invited. In her mind, she admits she’s lying to uncover the truth. Saras thinks to himself that if it wasn’t important, he wouldn’t have let her go and promises to return by evening. As she walks away, a smile forms on her face. Just then, her saree gets caught on something, and she feels Saras stop her. He approaches and holds her hand. They share a long, meaningful glance as the song “Piya Re” plays softly in the background. After this moment, Kumud leaves.

Saras looks around the room thoughtfully and soon receives a call from Guniyal, who anxiously asks where Kumud is and if she is safe. Saras assures her that Kumud is fine and went to her friend’s mahendi but didn’t share much detail. Guniyal insists Saras tell Kumud to call her, worried about her. Saras wonders why Guniyal is so concerned.

Kumud reaches the destination, but the driver warns her that respectable women don’t usually come here. Kumud replies firmly that it’s necessary and prays to Ambe Maa to give her strength to uncover the truth and protect her family from evil.

Later, Danny meets Kabir and asks about his recent work. Kabir acknowledges the tension between Saras and Danny, caused by him. Kabir reminds Danny that his family trusted him, but look at what he’s done. Danny dismisses blame, saying it’s not Kabir’s fault and that after Navratri he plans to start his own business independently. Kabir advises that everything is in the Lord’s hands, but their careers are in their own hands. He questions why Danny wants to start from scratch when his father has a large business empire in Dubai. Kabir urges him to support his father’s business and return to Dubai.

At a work site, Saras reflects on how Kumud hasn’t contacted him lately. He asks a worker to arrange food for him. Meanwhile, Kumud arrives in Sundarnagar. The driver again warns her to be cautious. Two men eye her and smile suspiciously.

Back home, Danny returns. Kusum asks where he’s been all day. Danny calls someone, requesting tickets to Dubai after Navratri. Kusum asks if Ghuman will be returning. Danny explains that their father will take time to recover, and since Saras is preoccupied, Danny must handle their father’s business. Kusum insists they have everything they need at home, but Danny argues that their father built his identity in Dubai with Ghuman’s support. Kusum stresses the importance of family at home, but Danny feels his responsibility lies with the business there. Kusum pledges to support him but urges him not to rush.

Saras thinks about Kumud’s silence and misses her. Kusum brings him tea and remarks that since they miss each other so much, why did he let her go? Kusum reveals that their conflict is affecting both Kumud and Saras deeply. She believes Kumud knows Saras will be happier if they reunite with everyone, so she’s enduring these nine days as a test to bring Saras and Danny together — but all she’s getting in return is his anger.

Elsewhere, Kumud inquires about the ghungroos with some men. Suddenly, she notices she is being followed and the men stop her, making her anxious.
