Saras and Kumud update Monday 9 June 2025

The episode begins with Kumud offering prasad to Ghuman, teasing her that maybe eating it will help her become better. Kabir arrives, and Saras invites him inside. Kabir asks Saras to sign some salary cheques, but Saras tells him that from now on, Danny will be signing them. Just then, Menka arrives and calls out to Ghuman. Surprised, Ghuman greets her warmly. Menka says Ghuman must have forgotten her.

Ghuman embraces Menka, surprised by the unexpected visit. Menka explains she has come because Laxminandan is in a coma, and she’s tired of being alone in Dubai. She inquires about Laxminandan’s condition and notices everyone’s shocked reactions as if she’s a ghost. She also questions why Danny and Saras did not invite her to their weddings, suggesting that she had never informed their parents.

Menka asks Ghuman about a man present there, and Danny introduces him as their friend Kabir, who works with them. Kabir greets Menka politely. Kumud wonders why everyone is acting like strangers and whether Ghuman is pretending. Ghuman suggests they go to her room to talk privately.

There, Ghuman tells Menka that Laxminandan is still unconscious. Kumud brings them tea and mentions that she has prepared the guest room. Ghuman brusquely tells her she can leave. As Kumud opens the window, Menka’s bag falls down. Kumud apologizes and quickly leaves. Once Kumud is gone, Ghuman complains she is fed up with Kumud and accuses her of cleverly trapping Saras with love. Menka retorts, comparing that to how Ghuman trapped Laxminandan.

Ghuman questions Menka’s unexpected visit. Menka reminds her they haven’t spoken in 22 years and accuses Ghuman of neglecting her while she was busy with Laxminandan. Ghuman states that Laxminandan is currently in a coma. Menka mocks her. Ghuman tells Menka to rest, and they get into an argument. Meanwhile, Kumud, who had placed a recorder in the room to listen secretly, hears their entire conversation on her phone. She wonders about the secret Ghuman is hiding and resolves to uncover it before the nine days are over.

The next morning, Kabir arrives with samples. Ghuman looks at him and smiles, and Kabir returns her gaze. Kumud observes this interaction carefully. Ghuman sends Kabir a message, asking why he has come to the house so early, and Kabir replies, joking if she has “invited” him to her party. Ghuman smiles at the reply. Saras instructs Kabir to take care that the samples do not show any discoloration. Menka arrives and notices Ghuman and Kabir smiling together. She teases Ghuman about how interesting Kabir seems. Ghuman warns Menka she won’t tolerate such jokes again. Kumud listens secretly as Ghuman walks away.

Saras suggests they go to the factory to recheck the samples, and both he and Kabir leave. Kumud decides she should talk to Menka, thinking maybe Menka is upset. She approaches Menka and offers her some juice. Menka thanks her. Kumud speaks kindly, saying Menka came for her sister, and that Kusum and she are like sisters too. Menka mentions she’s still unmarried.

Kumud points out how Menka traveled with Kaka and Maa but never considered herself. Kumud asks if Ghuman shares everything with Menka and requests to hear how Kaka and Maa met. Menka hesitates, sensing Kumud’s cleverness, and quickly claims she must make some important calls and leaves. Kumud thinks to herself that Menka stopped before revealing anything and decides she must investigate further.

In his room, Danny is upset. Kusum tries to talk to him, but he expresses his frustration, saying he never wanted Saras’s property and only wanted his support. He feels that Saras is giving everything to him angrily rather than lovingly. Kusum agrees and suggests Danny return the file to Saras.

Ghuman overhears this conversation. Danny leaves, and Kusum hopes they will reconcile. Ghuman reflects that she understands why Saras acted the way he did, having controlled her own husband before. Danny knocks on Saras’s door and enters.

Danny places the file in front of Saras. Saras asks for a moment to review it. Danny questions what the file is about, and Saras tells him he can keep it, as she cannot change her decision. She admits feeling burdened by it and says Danny can’t refuse. Danny accuses Saras of not supporting him. As Danny slips, Saras catches him. Kumud watches silently. Danny signs off and leaves. Saras angrily throws the file aside. Kumud smiles, pleased.

Kumud tells Saras she brought food, knowing he wouldn’t eat with everyone else. Saras says he won’t eat, but Kusum arrives and informs him that everyone is waiting and he should come. Kumud agrees and leaves. Saras eats the food hungrily, and Kumud smiles, relieved.

Later, Kumud enters Ghuman’s room and looks around. She finds Ghuman’s ghungroos under the bed, along with a bag containing her dance clothes. Kumud recalls that Kusum had made those ghungroos. She notes the name of the dancing club on the bag, intrigued.
