Soulmates update Saturday 7 June 2025

The episode begins with Renu approaching Sultan, offering him tea. Sachin, feeling left out, remarks that no one asked him to have tea. Renu, still upset from the events of yesterday, responds with a hint of frustration. Sultan, unfazed, responds cheerfully, “Great! Is this tea for me?” Renu nods, and Sultan thanks her. Sayali brings tea for everyone. Renu then asks Sultan not to mention anything about the incident to Roshni’s father. Sultan assures her, saying, “I understand, I won’t tell anyone. What’s on the menu today?” Aaji chimes in, letting him know that they have mutton planned for tomorrow, but today’s meal is vegetarian in celebration of the Krishi festival.

Curious, Sultan asks, “Can I come and watch the goat being cut?” Sachin agrees but wonders why Sultan is so interested. Sultan reveals that he has never seen it done before. Hearing this, Roshni grows worried. Renu, eager to please, asks Sultan what he would like to eat, and he responds confidently, “Don’t worry, I’ll tell Roshni’s dad all the good things about you and bring him here.” Roshni, uneasy with the idea of Sultan staying longer, quickly devises a plan to make him leave. She pretends to receive a call and announces, “I’ll send Sultan soon.” Renu, concerned, asks what’s going on. Sultan, puzzled, asks why Roshni is so tense. She claims that her “aunt” isn’t well, to which Sultan asks if Renu is the one who’s ill. Renu, slightly irritated, retorts, “I’m not an aunt, I’m fine,” and Aaji laughs.

Sachin, ever the joker, teases Renu, but Roshni quickly interrupts, claiming that her wife is unwell. Sultan, still not understanding, says, “Do I have a wife?” Roshni plays along, telling him, “I’ll tell her that you forgot her.” Sultan, rolling with the joke, replies, “Okay, I’ll talk to her.” Sayali, worried, reminds Roshni that she just received a call. Sultan offers, “I’ll bring her along,” but Roshni, quickly covering her tracks, says, “She’s in the hospital with a high fever.” Sultan, not fully convinced but going along with it, says, “Fine, but I’ll have food tomorrow and then leave.” Roshni and Sultan manage to cover up the lie in front of everyone. She insists that Sultan leave, as it’s getting late.

Just then, Akash arrives and greets everyone. Sachin, ever the planner, suggests that they take a family photo with Sultan, to which he agrees. Riya suggests they all form a heart shape and connect with another person. Sayali encourages Sachin to take part. Riya forms a heart with Paresh, who smiles at the gesture. Sachin forms a heart with Renu, who becomes emotional as she looks at him. The song Ek Dusre Ke plays as they take the photo. Aaji, watching the scene, remarks to Paresh, “Look, everyone is happy together.” Roshni, sensing it’s time for Sultan to go, asks him to come. Sultan, ever the showman, reassures her not to worry and strikes a pose for the photo. Sachin, with a playful smile, says, “The camera’s over there, not here.” Sultan responds with, “You look beautiful without even posing.” The cab arrives, and Renu encourages Roshni to bid a proper farewell to her uncle. Sultan leaves, and Roshni breathes a sigh of relief.

Later, Sayali and Sachin look through the photos, with Sachin complimenting Sayali and taking more pictures of her. The romantic tune Ek Duje Ke Vaaste plays in the background as the scene fades out.
