Saras and Kumud update Sunday 8 June 2025

The episode begins with Kumud hiding behind a window as Kabir looks outside. He receives a phone call and steps inside, speaking quietly. Kabir says, “I’m on my way. Not there — it’s a small village, and if anyone sees me, it will cause problems. Meet me where we always meet.” Kumud wonders who Kabir is meeting so secretly.

She watches him leave in his car, then quickly takes an auto to follow him. Badimaa and Guniyal notice Kumud leaving. Badimaa remarks, “I saw her go.” Guniyal asks how she could leave without informing anyone. Badimaa suggests she might have some urgent work.

Meanwhile, Ghuman asks Kusum where Kumud is, but Kusum doesn’t know since Kumud didn’t say anything. Kusum then asks Saras when Kumud will return. Saras worries, thinking, “How can Kumud be so late? She would never miss the aarti. Where could she have gone?”

Kumud spots Kabir’s car and looks around cautiously. She sees Kabir speaking with someone and tries to see who the woman is. She is shocked to discover it is Menka Kaki. Kumud wonders why Menka is there and what her connection to Kabir could be, especially since she also saw Kabir with Ghuman recently.

Menka asks Kabir if anyone doubts him. Kabir replies that no one does; Vidyachatur has given him a place in his home, Saras trusts him with his business, and everyone believes in him. Menka asks about Ghuman, and Kabir praises her as both beautiful and clever.

Menka says, “So it’s final now,” and reminds Kabir that he knows what must be done. Kabir assures her, “Don’t worry, everything will go as planned.” Suddenly, Kabir turns around, sensing something, but Kumud quickly hides. Kabir moves to investigate, but Kumud throws a stone to distract him. Kabir doesn’t see her, and Menka asks who threw the stone. Kabir tells her not to worry and returns to their conversation.

Elsewhere, Saras wonders where Kumud has gone and if she might be in trouble. He thinks, “She could have called me, so why didn’t she?” Kumud arrives home, determined to uncover the secret between Kabir and Menka, but wonders where to begin. Saras avoids speaking to her.

Kumud opens a cupboard, and a file falls out. She picks it up and says, “What’s this will? You’re giving everything to Danny without telling me?” Saras replies, “Do you tell me where you’re going? It’s fine.” Kumud responds, “I’ve asked you nine times. You’re breaking your bond with Danny by making this will.

I know you’re hurt, but…” Saras interrupts, “I’m doing this for Danny.” Kumud says maybe Danny is being pressured or misunderstood. Saras insists Danny is grown now and should understand him better, as he supported Saras in childhood. Saras then leaves.

Ghuman wonders how Kumud missed the aarti today. Saras hands the file to Kusum, asking her to give it to Danny. Kumud watches silently. Kusum gives the file to Danny, who is shocked on reading it. He looks at Saras, confused. Ghuman watches them, curious about the papers. Danny drops the file in distress.

Saras walks away with tears in his eyes. Danny holds his head. Kusum is shocked and asks, “What has Saras done? Why would he do this?” Danny replies, “I don’t know. I never asked him to.” Ghuman reads the file and urges Danny to understand and let go of his anger. Danny leaves.

Kumud confronts Saras: “You were right. Are you happy now? I thought you were sad, but you seem happy giving everything to Danny. This decision has made both of you happy. Now you can leave Danny without any ties.” Saras agrees, “Yes, I have no burden left. I’ve left Danny, and now I can leave this house.” Kumud smiles, satisfied she got her answer.

Yash’s mother tells Vidyachatur to visit Kumud’s house if he is worried. He agrees, but Badimaa warns him against going, saying he might be insulted. Vidyachatur notices her concern. Badimaa reveals she overheard Ghuman’s old behavior and says, “As long as she’s around, our troubles won’t end. She’s a liar.”

She tells him everything Ghuman said. Vidyachatur is shocked. Badimaa warns they must be cautious because Ghuman is trying to ruin their daughter’s happiness. She adds that Saras has decided to leave the house, Kumud will weaken, and Ghuman could do anything. “Only seven days remain. I hope Kumud can bring Saras and Danny together.”

Danny asks why Saras did this. Ghuman tells him to believe Saras is not really his brother, to forget this as a bad dream. Danny says he doesn’t want the property. Ghuman argues Saras didn’t sacrifice anything — the property was already Danny’s and just came back to him. She says Saras is not innocent and probably has a plan to take revenge. Danny doesn’t listen and walks away.

Kumud approaches Ghuman and says, “Did you see? Danny trusts Saras. He will learn the truth soon.” Ghuman walks off. Kumud thinks deeply about what’s happening and wonders what connection Kabir, Menka, and Ghuman share. She decides, “I have to find out.”
