Soulmates update Wednesday 18 June 2025
The episode opens with Renu mocking and belittling Sachin once again. Sayali calmly responds, expressing her firm belief that Sachin will work hard and buy her a mangalsutra himself. Paresh supports her, saying, “See, Renu—both Sayali and I have faith in Sachin.”
Unable to tolerate more disrespect, Sachin scolds Renu. She retorts by telling him to stay hungry like everyone else, since Sayali is busy running the store. Sayali quickly steps in and says she has already prepared breakfast and asks if anyone needs anything else. Paresh defends her, pointing out how responsibly Sayali manages everything and how Renu only ever finds faults in her.
Sachin and Paresh then go to eat breakfast. Paresh asks Renu to join them.
Later, Sachin meets his friends and tells them he needs their help. He says, “If you ever get a long ride that you can’t take, please pass it to me—I want to earn more money.” One friend suggests taking a loan from a chit fund. Anya echoes the idea and says they can repay it later. But Sachin firmly refuses, insisting he wants to earn money through honest work.
Anya presses him to explain what’s going on. Sachin opens up about the tension between Sayali and Renu and says he wants to buy a mangalsutra for Sayali as a token of appreciation. “Sayali has done so much for me,” he says emotionally, “Now it’s my turn.” Seeing his sincerity, his friends agree to help him out.
Meanwhile, Chandu scolds his friend Bunty and heads to Sayali’s flower stall to buy a varmala. He sees Sayali and stares at her inappropriately, making her visibly uncomfortable. When he asks for a varmala, she tells him it’s not ready yet and suggests he check another store. He tries to insist, offering extra money, but she refuses.
Chandu then says he’ll just buy something else from her stall. She maintains her professionalism, sets the flowers aside, and asks him to pay via UPI. Chandu tells Bunty to handle the payment, and Bunty does so. Before leaving, Chandu asks for directions to the other store and slyly says, “We’ll meet again.” Sayali is clearly disturbed by his behavior.
After they leave, Chandu tells Bunty he likes Sayali and even clicks her photo without her consent, claiming, “She’s mine.” They drive off.
Sayali calls Sachin, but he initially rejects the call as he’s busy. Meanwhile, Tejas is struggling in his new waiter job. He talks with another server and is told to inform customers that noodles are out of stock. Tejas hesitates, anxious about how customers might react.
Back to Sayali—she gets through to Sachin and tells him about Chandu’s creepy behavior. Sachin immediately flares up and says he’ll beat Chandu up. Sayali calms him down, saying she felt uncomfortable but can handle the situation herself. Sachin teases, “So you don’t need your hero to come save you?” She replies, “No, I just called to feel better.” He jokes back, and they share a warm moment before ending the call.
Back at the restaurant, Tejas reluctantly goes to serve the customers. Unfortunately, they lash out at him for suggesting a dish that’s not available. Tejas defends himself, asking them to speak respectfully, but the manager steps in, apologizes to the customers, and sends Tejas away.
The manager then scolds Tejas harshly in private, telling him to drop his attitude or leave the job. “This isn’t a place for drama,” he says. “Either fix your behavior or find another job.”
Later, Sachin chats with Sayali again, telling her that he took on a long ride just to earn money for the mangalsutra. Sayali reminds him to take care of himself and eat.
Meanwhile, Chandu is still obsessing over Sayali. He asks Bunty for her full name. Bunty says, “She’s Sayali Deshmukh,” and gives him her contact number, warning him not to fall for her. Chandu arrogantly says, “She’s my 101st girl—an auspicious number.” He adds smugly, “I’ll be meeting Sayali again tomorrow.”
