Jhanak update Tuesday 17 June 2025

The episode opens with Anirudh confessing that he loves Jhanak. He tells her that he has already asked Arshi to leave him. Jhanak insists he shouldn’t hurt Arshi, but Anirudh questions if he should continue hurting himself forever and admits he can’t harm Arshi either.

Jhanak says she is fine and wants to focus on her dreams, reminding him that her life isn’t centered around him. When Anirudh asks if there’s any place for him in her life, she responds by questioning how he could even ask such a thing.

He warns that one decision she makes could change both their lives, but she shakes her head. He says she will only truly understand him after hearing news of his death. She argues that their reunion would bring chaos to everyone’s lives, but he suggests they run away together, mentioning a job opportunity abroad.

She replies that she wants to pursue her goals, so he offers to settle in Mumbai instead. She questions what about his responsibilities, especially toward Arshi.

Anirudh replies that Arshi is no longer his responsibility and insists that he will either live with Jhanak or die. Jhanak urges him to move on and forget the past, but he firmly states he won’t return to Arshi, even if she rejects him.

He pleads with Jhanak to save him, saying he feels suffocated. She agrees to go to his house but warns that she will leave someday. Anirudh proposes marriage, but she refuses, explaining that she can’t break his bond with Arshi. He insists there is no bond left and vows to give up everything for her.

He encourages her to follow her dreams and tells her not to call him again. When he tries to leave, she stops him. He asks her to promise she will never leave him, but she says she can’t make that promise. He asks her to let him go, but she insists he can’t leave without her. Hearing this, he feels happy, and they leave together in his car.

At his house, Jhanak reiterates that she won’t break his marriage with Arshi. Anirudh receives a call from Aditya and tells Jhanak to go inside, but she chooses to go to Appu’s house instead, and Anirudh agrees.

He updates Aditya on everything, and Aditya advises him to convince Jhanak that things between him and Arshi are over. Aditya warns him about Kul Bhushan’s plan to harm Jhanak before the court verdict.

Anirudh thanks Aditya and expresses his desire to marry Jhanak and make her happy. Aditya tells him that Jhanak is lucky to have him and urges him not to let her leave Kolkata.

Later, Anirudh decides that Jhanak must stay with him for her safety. When an employee asks for leave due to his father’s cancer, Anirudh agrees to help and visits the employee’s house.

He sees the medical report, takes a photo of it, and asks someone to edit it, saying he is doing this for Jhanak’s well-being. After giving money to the employee, he leaves. Meanwhile, Jhanak meets Appu and tells her that Lalon will find a job.

Appu asks if Jhanak will leave her and says she knows Jhanak is thinking about Anirudh. Jhanak admits she can’t live with him, but Appu remarks that Anirudh should have married her instead of Arshi. Suddenly, Anirudh calls Jhanak and says something important has happened. He tells her he is waiting outside and ends the call.
