Anupama update Wednesday 9 April 2025
Anupama: The episode begins with a group of goons surrounding Aadhya. She pleads with them to stay away, but just as things escalate, a mysterious figure knocks one of the goons down. Aadhya, overwhelmed, faints. Anupama, hoping for a fresh start with Aadhya, enters the house and notices she’s missing.
Assuming Aadhya is simply used to waking up early due to her work at the orphanage, Anupama checks the door, which is open, and thinks Aadhya might have gone out to exercise, just like her father. She offers a prayer to God and reflects on how Aadhya is similar to Anuj, also asking her to call her “Rahi.”
Anupama expresses her fondness for the name Rahi, saying that everyone in their lives is like a traveler, or “Rahi.” She steps outside to perform her tulsi puja and prays for the sun to rise. Suddenly, she hears Kaveri’s voice and inquires about the well-being of her calf.
As she approaches, Anupama is surprised to find Aadhya asleep nearby. Grateful to Kaveri for informing her, she wonders how Aadhya ended up here. Prem arrives and offers an explanation, which is revealed through a flashback.
Prem had taken his jeep to the mechanic, who informed him that he was heading home, which is why he was delivering the jeep late at night. As Prem was about to leave, he overheard the goons harassing Aadhya, who was standing up to them.
He rushed over, knocked one of the goons down, and lectured them about the responsibility of protecting a girl, not taking advantage of her. When Aadhya fainted, he noticed she had a high fever and murmured that she missed her father and couldn’t live without him.
Prem tried to bring her home but saw people gathering, which made him hesitant to bring her in front of them. He decided to bring her to the cowshed, covered her with a dupatta, and placed a wet cloth on her forehead to bring down her fever. Prem waited outside all night to ensure she was okay.
The flashback ends, and Prem explains how he called Anupama but couldn’t reach her. He didn’t want to expose their situation to the public, so he kept Aadhya at the cowshed. He apologizes for interfering with their family matters the previous day.
Anupama thanks him for reuniting her with her daughter. Prem asks her not to tell Aadhya that he brought her there. At that moment, Aadhya wakes up and asks Prem why he’s at their house. They have a brief argument before Aadhya questions him about his presence early in the morning.
Jigar Bhai then enters with a lock, asking Anupama’s opinion on it. She responds positively, and Jigar Bhai explains that he had given Pakhi two days to pay the rent or he would lock up “Anu Ki Rasoi.” He wishes everyone a Happy Diwali in advance.
Toshu, frustrated, tells Anupama that they don’t have the money to pay rent and warns her not to engage in charity. Anupama, concerned, asks Pakhi why she hadn’t mentioned Jigar Bhai’s warning earlier. Pakhi admits that she had forgotten, as Rahi’s situation had taken priority.
Kinjal suggests they still have time to figure it out. Dolly urges everyone to pool their resources, but Toshu asks where the money is. Baa advises Anupama to use her savings to pay the rent and ensure “Anu Ki Rasoi” stays open, assuring her that more orders will come in with Diwali.
Toshu agrees that it’s a good idea. Kinjal acknowledges the plan but remarks sarcastically that it’s easier said than done.
Anupama explains that she doesn’t criticize others for using their savings, as it was her choice to save for her family. She says that if she needed to borrow money, she would have, as she would do anything for her daughter.
Aadhya overhears this, and Toshu presses Anupama to take action. Baa reminds Anupama of the financial burdens. Aadhya, feeling empathetic, realizes the family’s financial struggles as well.
Meanwhile, Pari, Mahi, and Ansh are counting their savings and realize they don’t have enough for the rent. Ansh suggests they all take responsibility and contribute.
Pari, upset, asks Ishu to lend them the money, but Ishu refuses, saying that since Anupama had done charity, she should now handle her own problems. Pakhi continues to criticize Anupama for loving outsiders more than her own children, making a pointed remark about Mahi and Rahi.
Ishu leaves with a taunt, and the siblings start contemplating how they can earn money on their own.
Ansh, Mahi, and Pari resolve to take on jobs and contribute, while Aadhya overhears and feels guilty, thinking about her children at the orphanage.
She sympathizes with her new family’s financial struggles. Anupama, deeply emotional, reflects on her decision to spend her savings for Rahi’s orphanage, knowing that without that donation, Aadhya wouldn’t have returned to her.
She contemplates how to raise the money to keep “Anu Ki Rasoi” open. Aadhya approaches them and insists that they not worry about taking responsibility for her problems, allowing Anupama to figure things out on her own.
Anupama, feeling overwhelmed, looks at the photo of Anuj and Aadhya, her pendant falling from her neck and landing on the photo frame. She gazes at it, deep in thought, wondering what to do next.
