Saras and Kumud update Wednesday 9 April 2025

Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Yash feeling upset with Dadaji and the family, believing his mother and Kalika were right all along. Dadaji encourages him to stay active and take part in the activities with a positive attitude.
Kumud comforts Yash, making him smile, and convinces him to join her as they have much to do. Dadaji mentions that there’s work to be done in the Karkhana and reassures Yash, who agrees cheerfully.
Meanwhile, Kalika talks to Yash’s mother, expressing her frustration over how easily Yash agrees with the family, making it hard for them to control him.
Kumud enters to check on Saras, and they accidentally bump into each other. Saras teasingly pulls her leg and shares a story, getting closer to her.
She moves back, saying that love has no conditions, and he responds by saying that those who love are never afraid. As she attempts to leave, he grabs her hand, stopping her.
A soft music plays in the background as a diya is set down, burning hot. Saras offers her some laddus, but she asks if he made them. She smiles and walks away, leaving him behind.
Badimaa calls Saras to bring the puja plate, and as he picks it up, he accidentally touches the hot diya and gets hurt.
Later, the family gathers outside for the kite flying competition. Saras hugs Danny, with Kusum and Badimaa standing by his side. Kumud looks at him, surrounded by Yash and the rest of the family, as they prepare for the competition.
Vidyachatur gives the signal to begin, and Saras picks up some soil, letting it fall as he gazes at Kumud. Kalika, meanwhile, is scheming, thinking that Yash will never make decisions on his own and that she must do something. Dadaji tells Kalika to handle the scoring, and she agrees. Dadaji encourages Saras to win, and Danny jokingly claims that he will.
Kumud warns Saras not to take it too seriously, or he might end up failing miserably. But the competition begins, and Saras and Kumud exchange glances as they fly their kites. Vidyachatur’s kite tangles with Saras’s, and Badimaa advises him to be cautious.
Vidyachatur humorously tells Saras to face him before facing his daughter, and Badimaa encourages Saras to follow his heart. Kumud teases Saras, saying she won’t let herself fall into his hands. Saras manages to defeat Vidyachatur, and Badimaa smiles, saying “Kai Po Che!” (a celebratory phrase).
Kalika records the points on the blackboard while Saras declares that he will take Kumud with him. Vidyachatur turns to Yash, asking him to fly the kite now.
Kalika continues to plot something, and Yash distracts Saras by pointing to a girl on the neighbor’s terrace. However, Saras doesn’t look, and Danny notices, causing Kusum to glare at him. Saras loses the competition, and Vidyachatur taunts, saying Kumud Sundari will not be so easily won.
Yash’s mother, Guniyal, decides to leave, and the competition continues. Saras wins another point and declares to Kumud that he will win her heart no matter what.
Kusum expresses her belief that Saras will win, and Kumud playfully suggests they’ll see. Saras promises to help her, and Kusum takes her turn flying the kite. She reminisces about the times she played with Kumud and laughs, saying she’s now playing with her to-be jethani (brother’s wife).
But Kumud wins over Kusum, and Kalika leaves the area. Badimaa asks Kusum to bring laddus from the kitchen, and just then, Dadaji seems unwell, causing everyone to rush to him. Kumud tells Dadaji to stop pretending, knowing his trick, but Dadaji laughs, admitting that Saras and Kumud are indeed clever.
Badimaa notices that Saras’s hand is bleeding, and Kumud gets worried, realizing he’s not acting this time. She rushes to him, asking him to let go of the kite string, and he responds, saying he can give up anything, but not her.
He adds that she won the competition, but she confesses that she’s wasted so much time. Dadaji smiles, saying Kumud’s response is a clear yes. Saras beams at her.
Kumud tends to Saras’s injury, apologizing for not realizing how badly he was hurt. She begins to cry, feeling guilty. Saras gently holds her face, reassuring her, and says that their new beginning will be more beautiful than they ever dreamed.
He asks her to stop crying and close her eyes. Surprised, Kumud asks why, and Saras blindfolds her with a cloth, saying that they should never have anything in between them. As the soft music plays, Saras leads her away, smiling as they walk together.
