Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Kalika sneaking around the house at night, determined to break open the lock on an old room. She mutters that once fate is on her side, no one will dare to cross her. As she brings a hammer to break the lock, she accidentally injures herself when the hammer falls on her foot. Yash hears the noise and calls out to her, asking what happened. Kalika quickly covers up, claiming she bumped into a vase. Yash, still concerned, leaves her to her devices. Meanwhile, the rest of the family is enjoying a lighthearted moment, discussing how Saras flew a kite despite injuring his hand and wondering where Saras and Kumud are.

Saras brings Kumud to the terrace, where he shows her some flying lights in the sky, playing a romantic melody. Kumud smiles as she watches the lights, and Saras tenderly touches her hair, gazing at her with love. Yash, noticing Kalika’s injury, asks if she’s okay. Kalika brushes him off and hides the hammer, making excuses. She asks him to leave, which he does reluctantly.

Back on the terrace, Saras expresses his love for Kumud. He admits that he couldn’t meet her small condition before, but now, he wants to tell her that he loves her deeply and always will. He says that the diyas represent his heart, asking her to hold his hand so that his heart will never be in darkness, and her love will always keep it bright. Saras kneels before her and asks, “Will you hold my hand?” Kumud, with tears in her eyes, smiles and accepts, holding his hand. Saras kisses her hand, and they share a tender, emotional moment.

Meanwhile, Kusum notices something strange near the old room. On the terrace, Saras and Kumud continue to enjoy their romantic moment. Saras suddenly stands on a bench and loudly asks, “Kumud Desai, will you marry me?” The family smiles and cheers. Kumud nods, and Saras, filled with joy, jumps up and hugs everyone. He’s about to hug Kumud but hesitates due to the presence of others. Badimaa gestures for him to go ahead, and Saras finally hugs Kumud, their smiles wide and hearts full.

Badimaa, blessed by the sight of their happiness, prays to the Lord for their unity. Vidyachatur suggests they proceed with the wedding preparations before Kumud changes her mind. Badimaa agrees and says she will speak with the pandit to fix a date, as their children have faced many tests, and now it’s time for their happiness. Saras, grinning, calls Kumud “Mrs. Saraswatichandra,” making her smile in return. Badimaa hugs them both and blesses them.

Later, Kumud runs playfully, with Saras chasing after her. She teases him, asking him to let go, but he catches her and holds her close. He flirts with her, and she becomes shy, lowering her gaze. Saras lovingly holds her face and insists that since he confessed his love in front of everyone, it’s her turn to express her feelings. She asks what she should say, and he teases her, asking her to admit that she loves him. Kumud, amused and flustered, agrees but adds one condition—he must sing a song for her. Saras reluctantly agrees, humorously lamenting that he’s never sung in his life.

Meanwhile, everyone is celebrating the engagement with sweets, and Kalika enters, visibly hurt. Yash takes care of her, sitting her down and inquiring about her injury. Kalika brushes it off, claiming it was nothing. Dada Ji, observing the situation, jokingly asks Kusum who she will support in the upcoming marriage—Danny and Saras or someone else. Yash agrees that they should focus on the wedding preparations. Kalika, still plotting, declares that she will work hard for the wedding, determined to cause trouble.

Kumud enters her room to find Saras exercising, singing a song in his own quirky way. She laughs at his poor singing but encourages him, saying he did well. Saras, slightly embarrassed, asks her how he sounded, and she teases him further. He jokes about not singing again, and Kumud, in her playful way, suggests he eat a laddu instead of singing. Saras, though annoyed, agrees to eat it and walks away, leaving Kumud to smile at his antics, thinking how sweet he’s becoming.

Back in the other room, Kalika tends to her foot, still scheming. Yash approaches her, teasing her about the injury. Kalika, still in pain, orders him to focus on the wedding preparations. Yash, ever the gentleman, agrees, but Kalika continues to plan behind the scenes, determined to make Kumud fear the marriage. She resolves to stir trouble, knowing she must act fast.

As the family prepares for Kumud and Saras’ wedding, their lives are filled with love, laughter, and new challenges, while Kalika plots in the shadows.
