Soulmate: The episode begins with Sachin admiring Sayali as she creates a Rangoli and compliments her skills. They share a moment together, and she asks him not to ruin her design. He playfully insists that he can help, saying he won’t spoil anything, and offers to fill in the colors. She declines, but they end up holding hands.

Just then, Akash and Riya arrive, and Sachin accidentally bumps into Akash, which annoys Riya. Paresh arrives and observes the situation. He then calls Sachin aside for a private conversation, asking him to come with him. Sachin checks if everything’s okay, and Paresh assures him he just wants to talk about keeping the peace within the family. Sachin agrees, and they share a hug.

Meanwhile, Riya, Roshni, and Sayali continue decorating the house while discussing the arrangements. Renu praises Riya and Roshni’s efforts, but Paresh stands up for Sayali. Renu retorts that she’ll have her “real Laxmi” perform the puja. Sayali is busy preparing food and explaining her sweet dishes to Riya when Renu interrupts, insulting her again. Riya, surprised, tries to defend Sayali, but Renu brushes it off, claiming she was just trying to speed her up.

Riya insists that they will work together, taking the sweets and asking Akash to assist Sayali. Renu scoffs, saying Sayali can handle it alone since that’s all she knows. Sayali agrees to do it herself, but Sachin steps in, suggesting that if such great people are around, they might as well all pitch in. Paresh supports the idea, emphasizing that festivals are meant to be enjoyed together, and Sachin lightens the mood with a joke about Renu.

Sayali shares her family’s traditions and celebrations. Renu belittles Sayali’s background, stating that despite her poverty, her two daughters-in-law are wealthy, and hints that Riya will naturally distance herself from Sayali. Riya then asks about Roshni, who shares her story of struggling to build her business in Mumbai. Riya relates, admitting she was overwhelmed by the stresses of Diwali preparations and indecisiveness over her dress and parlor. Paresh expresses his admiration for their perseverance, mentioning how Akash and Sachin used to devour sweets without thinking about the food. Sachin reminisces about their childhood.

Sayali mentions that Renu asked her to make rava laddoos, which she did, but she can also make besan laddoos if needed. Sachin then suddenly stands up, and Sayali asks him what’s wrong. He says he’ll go check if Aaji has called, leaving Sayali wondering what’s bothering him.
