Anupama update Monday 14 April 2025

Anupama: The episode begins with Janki behen confronting Baa, criticizing her for not having the proper manners to treat guests. Baa responds by calling Janki a worker, not a guest. Anupama intervenes, telling Baa to stop insulting Janki and insists that workers deserve the same respect.

She serves Janki her food on a steel plate and comments that she doesn’t have silver or gold plates, emphasizing that she doesn’t understand why workers’ utensils are always kept separate. Anupama explains that everyone should be treated equally, regardless of their social standing, citing how Lord Krishna welcomed Sudama without judging his status.

She also points out that the food in restaurants is made by people from all walks of life and questions why society should discriminate. Pakhi sarcastically remarks that Anupama will next invite beggars to eat with them.

Anupama dismisses her, focusing on the importance of equality, and asks Prem to sit and enjoy the meal with everyone. Baa, however, seethes with anger, planning to take revenge for this public humiliation.

Meanwhile, Aadhya reflects on the food she just had, recalling how she used to be hungry and has now grown accustomed to an empty stomach. She gets a call from Bubbly, informing her about Pinto’s accident.

Aadhya is distressed to learn that Pinto has fallen from a terrace and urgently needs money for treatment. Anupama reassures her, promising to send the money as soon as it arrives, either to Vyas’s account or the hospital’s.

Baa overhears the conversation and becomes suspicious when Toshu gets the money from the order. She takes the money from him, determined not to let Anupama waste it.

Later, Baa gives Dolly some money to buy clothes, although Dolly thanks her, she comments about always having to ask Anupama for money. Baa insists that Dolly now ask her directly, and Ishu observes, noticing where Baa has hidden the keys to the safe.

Anupama waits for Keertan to send the money, but Aadhya arrives, frustrated that the family can afford shopping but not help with Pinto’s medical bills. She storms off in anger.

At the same time, Ishu sneaks into Baa’s room, takes the keys, and retrieves the money from the locker, apologizing as she takes the cash. Aadhya enters the room as Ishu hides and holds the money, but Aadhya sees the money in the safe.

Later, during the aarti, Baa insists that Anupama do it, as the auspicious time is running out. Anupama reluctantly agrees but continues to wait for the money from Keertan. She calls him, and Keertan reveals that he already gave the money to Toshu, leaving Anupama confused.

Toshu tries to explain, but Baa interrupts, saying she needed the money, so she took it for Dolly’s shopping. Anupama demands the money but is reprimanded by Baa for spending so much on others’ children and being unable to provide for her own.

Baa continues to belittle Anupama, claiming that she has been supported for 26 years by her son, and insinuates that if Anupama had money, she would have given it to an orphanage instead of helping her own daughter. Anupama defends herself, saying she has always helped Baa financially. Baa insults Rahi, calling her destructive, and refuses to give the money.

Just as Anupama continues to argue for the money, Ishu enters and accuses Rahi of stealing the money from Baa’s safe. She shows a photo of Rahi with the cash.

Baa seizes on this, accusing Rahi of being a thief, and Dolly adds that Rahi has committed murder before and is now a criminal for stealing. Anupama insists that Rahi is not a thief, but Baa is convinced otherwise.

Aadhya, on her way to the bus stand to leave for Dwarka, is stopped by a man who directs her to the right bus. Toshu, furious, confronts her for stealing the money.

Dolly accuses Aadhya of clearing out the locker, while Toshu threatens to call the police. Pari intervenes, trying to stop him, and Pakhi adds that the video Ishu took will reveal the truth about Rahi’s involvement in the theft.
