Anupama update Tuesday 15 April 2025

Anupama: Janki Behen tells Baa that although God has given her everything, He hasn’t granted her the manners to treat guests properly. Baa retorts that Janki isn’t a guest but a worker. Anupama intervenes, telling Baa to stop insulting the worker. She hands a plate of food to Janki Behen and tells her to have it.

Baa questions Anupama if she didn’t hear her. Anupama responds that she did and adds that she’s serving Janki Behen on a steel plate because she doesn’t have silver or gold plates. She expresses confusion over why workers are given separate plates, glasses, and bowls. She tells Baa that people can eat the food prepared by Janki, but can’t sit and share a meal with her. Pakhi criticizes Anupama, saying that tomorrow she’ll invite a beggar inside and force the family to eat with him.

Anupama insists that Janki Behen eat, citing examples from Shri Krishna and Shri Ram. She emphasizes that Shri Krishna didn’t care about Sudama’s wealth when he served him food. She explains that when we practice religious rituals and discriminate between people, those rituals lose their significance.

She points out that people enjoy restaurant food, but often overlook who prepared it. She adds that this kind of attitude is why the city hasn’t prospered. Anupama declares that it’s a festival day, and they should celebrate together. She encourages Prem to join in the meal, and Prem serves food to everyone before sitting down to eat. Baa, however, silently vows to take revenge for this perceived insult.

Meanwhile, Aadhya reflects on the large meal she just had, recalling how she had once been used to hunger. She’s shocked when she receives a call from Bubbly informing her about Pinto’s fall from the terrace and his need for urgent medical funds. Anupama listens carefully and reassures Aadhya that once the order money arrives, she will send it directly to Pinto’s hospital or Vyas’s account.

Toshu gets the order money, and Baa instructs him to hand it over before Anupama can waste it. She takes the money and heads to her room, where she finds Dolly sitting. Baa, recognizing that Dolly has unspoken desires, gives her money to buy clothes. Dolly thanks her but mentions that she usually has to ask Anupama for money. Baa insists that she can ask her now. Meanwhile, Ishu notices where Baa has hidden the keys to the locker.

Anupama waits for Keertan’s call to receive the money, but just as she’s expecting him, Aadhya enters and demands the funds. Anupama explains that she’s waiting for Keertan. Dolly, Kinjal, and Pakhi return from shopping, and Aadhya complains about the family’s priorities, pointing out that they have money for shopping but not for Pinto’s medical treatment. Frustrated, she leaves. Prem, worried, calls a friend and asks for help.

Ishu takes the opportunity to enter Baa’s room, steals the keys, and opens the locker. She takes the money out and murmurs to herself that she doesn’t want to go to jail, but she has no choice. Aadhya enters the room shortly afterward, and Ishu hides the money behind her. Aadhya, noticing the money in the locker, realizes what Ishu has done.

Later, Baa asks Anupama to do the aarti, but Anupama asks Baa to handle it since she’s waiting for Keertan. Baa insists that Anupama do it because the auspicious moment is about to end. Anupama eventually performs the aarti and prayer. Prem stands by for the ritual, and Anupama finishes the ceremony.

Aadhya, holding the money, reflects on her actions, knowing it’s wrong to steal but justifying it for Pinto’s treatment. She plans to repay the money later. Ishu, secretly recording the event, watches her closely. After Aadhya leaves, Anupama finishes the aarti and calls Keertan, asking for the funds. Keertan informs her that he had already given the money to Toshu long ago.

Anupama turns to Toshu for answers, but before he can explain, Baa intervenes. She claims she took the money because Anupama needed it, and Dolly wanted to buy clothes. Anupama demands the money, but Baa scolds her, saying she spent thousands on other people’s children and is now asking for 2000 rupees for her own daughter.

Baa reminds Anupama that for 26 years, they took care of her when she wasn’t earning. Anupama tries to speak up, but Baa silences her, arguing that Anupama would have given the money to an orphanage.

Anupama tries to assert that Rahi is her daughter, but Baa belittles Rahi, calling her destructive. She threatens to scold both Anupama and her daughter. Anupama insists on the money.

Ishu arrives and accuses Rahi of stealing the money from Baa’s safe, showing the photo she secretly took. Prem hears this and quickly leaves. Baa confronts Anupama about her daughter’s alleged actions. Ishu claims that Rahi stole the money and ran away. Anupama protests, stating that this isn’t true.

Baa calls Rahi a thief, while Dolly adds that she is a criminal who has already committed murder and now theft. Baa predicts that Rahi will destroy the family.

Aadhya, on her way to Dwarka, is approached by a man who tells her where to go. Toshu accuses her of bringing 10 lakhs and using it to make Rahi steal from the family. Dolly notes that they had been safeguarding silver coins, and now Rahi has cleared the locker.

Toshu threatens to call the police, but Pari convinces him not to. Pakhi remarks that Aadhya made a video, which is the only reason Anupama would admit that her daughter is capable of stealing.
