Soulmate update Saturday 3 May 2025

The episode begins with Akash bringing everyone to meet Aaji. Aaji is furious and scolds him for tarnishing Paresh’s reputation. She demands to know whom he married and expresses her anger over his decision to elope. Renu tries to calm her, saying that Akash liked the girl, so he married her. Aaji is further upset, accusing everyone of keeping secrets from her, especially about Paresh’s health.

Just then, Paresh arrives and warmly greets Aaji. She gets emotional and embraces him. He assures her that he’s fine and nothing serious happened. But Aaji is distraught that no one informed her about his major surgery, blaming Paresh’s wife and sons for hiding the truth. Tejas brushes it off, saying their father is aging and health issues are normal, which prompts Aaji to scold him too. Renu makes a sarcastic remark, irritating Aaji further.

Aaji then criticizes Akash for getting married in secret, saying Paresh won’t find peace this way. At that moment, Riya enters, and Akash informs her that Aaji is here. Riya greets Aaji respectfully, but Aaji questions if she is the girl Akash married and whether her parents taught her to run away and marry. Riya explains that they informed her parents, but since they didn’t agree, she and Akash had no choice. Akash tries to stop Riya from arguing, but she stands her ground, saying parents must also respect their children’s choices.

Sayali intervenes, suggesting Riya freshen up and let Aaji rest first, promising coffee and a calmer chat later. Riya agrees and leaves. Aaji comments to Renu that her daughter-in-law will soon be controlling her. Just then, Sachin arrives and greets Aaji, only to be slapped by her.

She’s angry that he didn’t inform her about Akash’s marriage or Paresh’s heart attack. Sachin tries to explain but Aaji cuts him off, saying Sayali at least had the sense to tell her the truth. Renu glares at Sayali. Aaji praises Sayali’s sense of responsibility and tells Sachin he should be ashamed. When he jokingly suggests she should slap Renu instead, Aaji scolds him again, asking him to leave. Paresh signals Sachin to quietly exit.

Sayali finds Sachin outside and tries to comfort him, offering to make him tea. Annoyed, he ties a dupatta around her mouth to silence her. She protests and asks if he’s lost his mind. He accuses her of telling Aaji everything and causing him to get slapped. Sayali mocks him for being afraid of Aaji’s hand.

He warns that her slap is like iron. Sayali cheekily threatens to call Aaji again, making him panic. She explains that she had to tell Aaji everything to prevent her from arranging another match for Akash and facing humiliation. She adds that Aaji was about to blame Paresh, so she had to intervene. Sachin says he won’t speak to Aaji anymore and walks away. Sayali shrugs and leaves too.

Later, Aaji distributes prasad and chats with Riya, asking about her job. Riya says she works in dubbing. Akash elaborates on what dubbing involves, and Riya adds that it’s fun and enjoyable. Aaji makes a humorous comment about Renu, making everyone laugh.

Renu complains to Tejas that Aaji is insulting her. Aaji then talks to Riya about traditions and customs and gifts her a saree. Riya is touched and thanks her, saying Akash hasn’t given her a gift yet, but she loves Aaji. Aaji jokes and gives Akash a slap as his “gift,” making everyone laugh. Akash apologizes and affectionately calls her his favorite Aaji.

Curious, Renu and Tejas peek into Aaji’s bag and ask if she brought anything for them. Aaji says she left in a hurry upon hearing about Paresh’s condition and didn’t get anything. She then asks where Sachin is. Sayali says he’s in the room and doesn’t want to talk.

Aaji tells her to open the door. Inside, Sachin is singing to himself. Sayali knocks and tells him Aaji is calling. He refuses to come. Aaji then calls out to Paresh and reveals that she brought his favorite sweet—Kharwas. Paresh is delighted, and Sayali smiles. Paresh enjoys it while Riya curiously asks what it is. Aaji explains what Kharwas is, and everyone joins in to eat.

Meanwhile, Sachin begins thinking of his next move.
