Saras and Kumud update Saturday 3 May 2025

The episode begins with Saras and Kumud looking for the life partner of a bird. Saras tries to attract the bird with sounds, and they both search for the love bird. Saras wonders if they’re overthinking and suggests that maybe the bird is alone.

Kumud reflects on what would happen if she weren’t with him, and Saras expresses that he can’t imagine living without her. They hear the bird calling, and Kumud points out the direction of the sound, so they continue to look for the bird.

Meanwhile, Danny returns home from work, feeling tired. Kusum asks him about the Valentine’s Day surprise, and Danny apologizes for being exhausted, asking her to bring him his pink shirt from the terrace for his meeting. Kusum is annoyed, mentioning that she had been dreaming of a surprise all day.

Danny smiles, but Kusum continues, comparing him to Saras, who, despite forgetting Valentine’s Day, still managed to take Kumud out. Kusum then goes to the terrace and is overjoyed to see it beautifully decorated. Danny follows her and offers her food that he prepared himself, saying he learned it from an online recipe.

He admits he did it while she was upset with him. Kusum asks when he did all of this, and Danny says he came home when Saras jumped into Kumud’s room. He then asks Kusum to close her eyes before giving her a gift—a diamond ring. Kusum is thrilled, and Danny promises to give her diamonds every Valentine’s Day. He wishes her a happy Valentine’s Day.

Back to Saras and Kumud, they finally find the bird in the hands of a bird catcher. Kumud asks the man to release the bird, saying it should not be trapped. Saras, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, agrees that they should set the birds free.

When the man refuses, Saras offers to pay him, but Kumud insists it’s illegal, and she threatens to call the police. The man challenges her, but Saras comes up with a plan. They silently take the birdcage while the man is distracted.

Kumud manages to free the other bird, and Saras convinces the man to stop trapping birds. Saras offers him a job, giving him his business card. The man thanks them, and they leave after making him promise not to trap any more birds.

Meanwhile, Danny continues his surprise, feeding Kusum by hand. Laxminandan, who is preparing to leave, receives an unsettling phone call from a man with tattoos, who taunts him and ends the call. Laxminandan grows worried, suspecting that the man who called may be the same one who sent him a threatening letter. The man promises to return soon and puts red ink on a photo of Laxminandan.

Saras and Kumud enjoy watching the birds fly free, smiling at the sight. Saras suggests they go now, and they leave. Kusum, who is having lunch with Danny, teases him as they share food, with both of them eating from the same plate.

Later, Laxminandan talks to Vidyachatur about the mysterious man and his intentions. Vidyachatur urges him to stay with the family, but Laxminandan insists he must leave, as his presence brings pain to Saras. He wants to see his children happy.

Laxminandan gives Vidyachatur a family drawing made by Saras and asks him to give it to Saras. He also leaves papers for Danny and Saras regarding their new company. Laxminandan expresses his trust in Vidyachatur to look after his sons. Before leaving, Vidyachatur embraces Laxminandan.

Meanwhile, Saras and Kumud spend time by a lake. Saras suggests they have lunch at a hotel, but Kumud prefers to sit by the peaceful lake. Saras gives her a special gift for Valentine’s Day a new bag, since her old one was worn out. Kumud smiles, and Saras expresses that everything in their life will be new now.

Kumud then gives Saras his own gift a drawing of them together. She explains that it’s the first time she’s made a drawing of them as a couple. Saras is deeply touched and promises to always keep it safe, acknowledging that it marks a new beginning for them.

As they smile at the love birds nearby, Saras hugs Kumud, affirming that they’ve made a wonderful start to their new life together.
