Saras and Kumud update Sunday 4 May 2025

The episode begins with Kalika paying a man only ₹5000. He questions the amount, reminding her of the time he gave her to repay the full sum. Kalika pleads for more time, promising to arrange the rest soon. He warns her that his men will come for the money next week and leaves. Kalika worries about how she’ll manage the amount, lamenting that even Yash doesn’t give her money. She realizes she’ll have to find another way to get it.

Meanwhile, Laxminandan leaves, reflecting on Saras’s recent words. Unbeknownst to him, a tattooed man begins to tail him. Elsewhere, Saras and Kumud are still celebrating Valentine’s Day. Kusum calls Kumud, informing her that Laxminandan has left unexpectedly. Concerned, Kumud tells Saras they must go home. Saras is taken aback by the news and wonders what to do, while Kumud questions whether Laxminandan didn’t trust her.

Laxminandan stops his car to make a phone call, trying unsuccessfully to reach Ghuman. He contacts the servant and instructs him to tell Ghuman that he’ll be coming the next day. Just then, the man following him scatters nails on the road. As a result, Laxminandan’s car suffers a flat tire. When he steps out to inspect it, the man attacks him, causing him to fall and bleed. Laxminandan weakly calls out Saras’s name. The attacker mocks him, saying it’s unusual to see a top industrialist lying helpless on the road. He splashes water on Laxminandan’s face, stating he won’t let him die so easily, then walks away.

Back with Saras and Kumud, they’re on their way home when Saras receives a call from Danny informing him of Laxminandan’s accident. Shocked, Saras quickly heads to the city hospital. Kumud anxiously asks what happened, and Saras tells her his father is in critical condition. Kumud tries to console him.

At the hospital, Danny is in tears beside Laxminandan. The doctors urge everyone to arrange blood quickly for emergency surgery. Saras and Kumud arrive. Danny informs Saras about the situation. Saras tries to remain calm but is devastated upon seeing his father in that condition. He recalls the recent tension between them and breaks down. The operation begins as Danny and Saras embrace emotionally, joined by Kusum and Kumud.

Meanwhile, Yash calls Kalika and updates her. Kalika informs Yash’s mother about the accident, who notes that this tragedy occurred just after Saras and Kumud’s wedding. Kalika uses the opportunity to leave under the pretense of doing some work. Alone at home, she sneaks into Yash’s mother’s room and steals a necklace from the cupboard. She contacts the man again, promising to pay ₹3 lakhs this time, aiming to bet in India.

Outside the operation theatre, the family anxiously waits. Vidyachatur expresses regret, fearing Laxminandan was upset when he left the house. Guniyal reassures him, saying Saras is with them now. Yash asks about the circumstances of the accident, mentioning that a nurse said someone dropped Laxminandan off at the hospital. Badimaa wonders whether Saras knows why his father left and suggests Kumud check on him, knowing he must be shattered.

Kumud approaches Saras, who insists he’s fine. She tells him not to bottle up his fear, assuring him that everything will be okay and Laxminandan will recover. She holds his hands, offering comfort. Unbeknownst to them, the attacker is nearby, watching their every move.
