Saras and Kumud update Monday 5 May 2025

The episode begins with Kumud urging Saras not to conceal his pain, reassuring him that Kaka will be fine. Meanwhile, a tattooed man observes them from a distance. The operation is complete, and the doctor steps out. Everyone anxiously inquires about Laxminandan’s condition.

The doctor reassures them, stating that he will recover soon. The family expresses their gratitude, and the doctor adds that they are transferring him to the ICU. Danny thanks the doctor, and Saras breathes a sigh of relief. The tattooed man watches Vidyachatur before leaving quietly. The family waits anxiously outside.

Kumud and Saras exchange glances. Danny speaks with a nurse, who informs him that Laxminandan is now conscious. Everyone smiles with relief. Danny confidently states that he knew Laxminandan would be fine. Saras is then called by the police for questioning, and both he and Danny head off to speak with them.

Meanwhile, the mysterious man, disguised as a doctor, hides his face with a mask and intentionally creates a commotion to distract everyone, allowing him to slip into the ICU unnoticed. He approaches Laxminandan, who weakly says “Saras…”

The man removes his mask and mocks Laxminandan, saying, “I’ve hurt your heart, but I won’t let you die so easily.” Laxminandan gazes at him in confusion, and the man smiles before injecting him. “Saras…” Laxminandan mutters again. Just as the mysterious man prepares to leave, the real doctor arrives to check on Laxminandan. The man quickly hides, and the doctor examines Laxminandan, declaring that he is unconscious and they must continue to wait.

Kumud reassures Danny not to worry, while the mysterious man watches them from afar, smiling. Vidyachatur asks the police if they have discovered the identity of the person responsible for the accident, but the inspector responds that they have no answers yet.

Danny, filled with anger, vows that when he faces the culprit, he won’t spare them. The mysterious man overhears and approaches Danny. He steps forward, announcing, “Here I am.” The family is stunned as the man confesses, “I did the accident. It was my car.”

Vidyachatur, furious, demands an explanation, while Badimaa scolds him for his reckless behavior. Vidyachatur asks the man who he is. Danny, in a fit of rage, slaps him, but Saras steps in to stop him. The doctor intervenes, saying they should be thankful to the man for bringing Laxminandan to the hospital in time.

Vidyachatur is taken aback. The man apologizes, explaining that he was the one who brought Laxminandan in. The inspector, still suspicious, asks for his name. The man introduces himself as Kabir, and the inspector informs him that he must come with them for further questioning. Kabir expresses his hope for Laxminandan’s recovery.

The doctor reassures everyone, stating that Laxminandan is still under observation and they are doing everything possible. Saras, overwhelmed, hugs Danny. Yash suggests that Vidyachatur should return home, but Vidyachatur refuses to leave. Kumud watches Saras, concerned. Yash offers tea to everyone as they settle in at the hospital.

Eventually, the family falls asleep, with Saras remaining awake. Vidyachatur wakes up to find Saras in distress and goes to comfort him. The doctor then delivers devastating news: Laxminandan has slipped into a coma. The family is shocked, and Kabir overhears the announcement. Kumud, devastated, asks how this could happen.

The doctor explains that due to the head injury, they cannot predict when he will regain consciousness, but they will continue to stabilize him. Kumud breaks down in tears. Danny converses with the doctor, while Saras steps away, unable to hold back his sorrow. Vidyachatur notices Saras’s absence and asks Kumud where he has gone. She begins to search for him.
