Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 6 May 2025

The episode begins with Saras entering his room in tears, overwhelmed by emotions. In frustration, he starts throwing things around. Kumud walks in and finds him hurting himself. She rushes to him, asking, “What are you doing? Look at me.” She reassures him, telling him that she understands his worry, but assures him that everything will be okay. Saras calms down as she comforts him.

Saras notices a childhood drawing he made. Kumud points to it and says, “You made this, right?” Saras confirms and she continues, “Kaka gave this to your father. He has kept it safe, just like my father kept that doll for me.” She reminds him that fathers may not always show love, but they do care deeply. Saras holds the drawing and then notices a document and a letter. Kumud explains that Kaka had left him his property, and Saras reads the letter from Laxminandan.

The letter expresses Laxminandan’s regret, acknowledging his past mistakes and his inability to give Saras the family he had always longed for. He admits his sins and says he’s ready to face the consequences. He confesses that after Saras’ mother left, he lost his ability to give love. Laxminandan writes that he will be going back to Dubai, but that Saras will always be his son, his Saraswatichandra. Saras is deeply moved, holding the letter close to him. Kumud embraces him as they both cry together.

Meanwhile, Kalika is watching a cricket match at home, gloating over her winnings. She celebrates her newfound wealth, calling the betting man to place another bet, planning to double her money. She talks about becoming a millionaire, but decides that one more bet will be her last. She tells herself that it’s wrong, but justifies it with one final wager.

At the hospital, Kusum and Yash suggest that the family take a break and rest. Danny watches quietly. Vidyachatur consoles Danny, and the elders leave. Vidyachatur then goes to meet Saras, who is distraught and blaming himself for what happened.

Saras expresses his regret, feeling that his father came to India to apologize and that he didn’t even get to accept his blessings. He feels that he’s lost the opportunity to tell his father how much he loves him. Vidyachatur assures Saras that his father never held any grudges. He was waiting for Saras and would understand his struggles. Vidyachatur comforts him, telling him that his father will be fine soon.

Saras, still overwhelmed, is invited by Vidyachatur to stay at his home for a while. Just then, an inspector arrives with Kabir at the Desai house. Vidyachatur inquires about the situation, and the inspector explains that the medical reports show that Laxminandan was drunk when he was driving, which means Kabir was not at fault in the accident.

Saras insists that this can’t be true, while Kabir acknowledges his own mistake, admitting that he should have been more careful. However, he did not speak out earlier because he knew how important Laxminandan was to Saras.

The inspector concludes that the case will be closed since it was not Kabir’s fault. Vidyachatur expresses disbelief, saying he doesn’t believe Laxminandan would do something like that. Suddenly, Ghuman appears, stirring up more tension. She accuses Kumud of being responsible for Laxminandan’s current condition, blaming her for inviting him and causing more trouble in the family. Ghuman goes on to accuse Kumud of undermining Saras and his relationship with his father.

Saras, visibly angered, steps in, saying, “Enough.” He asserts that Kumud is his wife, and it was her kindness that invited Laxminandan to the wedding, not to disrespect him. He tells Ghuman that she doesn’t deserve any answers from Kumud. Ghuman, undeterred, continues to lash out at Saras, accusing him of causing Laxminandan’s suffering. She even questions Vidyachatur’s actions in keeping his son away from his father, and she brings up Danny, asking what role he plays in the situation.

Kalika, sensing an opportunity, is about to reveal the truth about Danny and Kusum, but Kumud shoots her an angry glance, signaling that now is not the time to reveal it. Ghuman presses on, demanding to know where Danny is. She calls for him, and everyone grows tense. Ghuman declares she will head to the hospital immediately.

Kumud, her emotions running high, firmly tells Ghuman, “Don’t come to the hospital. I don’t want your shadow near my husband.” Ghuman storms off, leaving the room in turmoil. Kumud is left crying as the weight of the accusations and the situation takes a toll on her.
