To protect the baby, Urvashi began applying sindoor, asserting that she was the child’s real mother, even though she knew the baby was Shrishti’s. Jhanak, confused, shouts, “Who is that child?” Brij reveals the truth—Jhanak is Nutan, his daughter. Shocked, Jhanak struggles to process the truth, feeling betrayed by both her mother and Shrishti. Brij tells her that although he couldn’t meet Urvashi, he always knew one day he would reunite with his daughter. He admits that his life has been in danger, which kept him from seeing her.
