The episode begins with Sayali taking Riya aside. She tells her that she can wear whatever clothes she likes, and she looks beautiful in them. However, since they live in a joint family, it’s important to consider the comfort of others. She reminds Riya that Paresh is older and should be shown respect. Riya responds that she always speaks respectfully to him.

Sayali explains that respect is not just about words, but also about behavior. Riya argues that they should have the freedom to wear what they like, just as they have the freedom to eat what they want. Sayali replies that while Paresh may not say anything, as they are like daughters to him, it’s important to think about his feelings. Riya agrees, though reluctantly, and says that if it’s disturbing anyone, she’ll change. Sayali thanks her, and Roshni comments on Riya’s compliance.

Later, Riya comes out in a long nightie and asks Sayali if it’s okay. Sayali tells her it looks beautiful, and Renu also approves, though with a hint of annoyance. Paresh smiles at Riya’s change of clothes, and Sayali makes a joke, causing Renu to get upset.

The next morning, Sayali is looking through classified ads for job opportunities. Sachin, her husband, asks what she’s searching for. She tells him she’s looking for a job related to marriage decorations. He supports her decision, saying that while he can’t do everything alone, she has to support him too. He kisses her, praising her determination and clean heart.

Renu then gives Sayali clothes to wash and asks her to clean the floor. Roshni also hands over Tejas’ shirts to Sayali for washing. Sayali refuses to do the work, which causes a heated argument with Renu, who scolds her. Renu insists that washing clothes is Sayali’s responsibility, accusing her of disrespecting Tejas, who is highly educated. Sayali stands firm, saying she won’t wash the clothes.

Riya steps in, bringing her own clothes to wash, and questions why Renu can’t help Sayali. Renu brushes her off, saying it’s not her job. Riya suggests hiring a maid, but Renu dismisses the idea, claiming it’s Sayali’s job to handle the work. Riya argues that Sayali already works hard at home and should not have to do it all on her own.

Roshni, who runs a parlor, joins the conversation and says that despite being tired, she works nonstop. Riya counters by saying that Sayali works without any recognition or compensation, unlike Roshni and herself, who get paid for their hard work. Sayali tells Riya not to worry, but Riya insists on helping her out. Roshni taunts Sayali for her hard work without any acknowledgment.

Riya then gives Sayali 2000 rupees, asking her to accept it for her hard work. Sayali is taken aback, asking if Riya wants something in return. Riya reassures her that it’s just a token of appreciation for all the work she does for the family without expecting anything. Renu smirks, while Roshni looks on disapprovingly.

Sayali hesitates but eventually takes the money, expressing that she considers the family as her own and doesn’t expect payment. Riya explains that she gave the money to Sayali because she values her work, and if Sayali ever needs anything, she should feel free to ask. Sayali, moved by the gesture, gets emotional, while Renu and Roshni continue to make sarcastic comments.
