Jhanak update Sunday 4 May 2025

The episode opens with the Bose family deep in discussion about Jhanak. Having just returned from the dance event, they are filled with questions about Nutan, whose true identity remains a mystery. Amid the speculation, Anirudh is advised to distance himself from the matter to avoid further turmoil in his already complicated life. Tanuja and Vipasha pretend to sympathize with the memory of Jhanak in an attempt to manipulate Anirudh into moving forward and focusing on his future.

However, Anirudh remains emotionally anchored to Jhanak. He refuses to let go and finds it impossible to forget her. His frustration grows as he criticizes the police for their lack of progress in uncovering Jhanak’s murderer, fueling his sense of helplessness.

Later, Appu returns home, visibly upset that she couldn’t speak to Jhanak after the performance. It’s clear Jhanak deliberately avoided her, likely to hide her real identity. This behavior leaves both Appu and Lalon disillusioned. While Lalon tries to convince Appu that the girl on stage wasn’t Jhanak, Appu refuses to believe it and expresses her desire to speak to the police commissioner for clarity.

The Bose family begins to suspect that Nutan is somehow linked to Jhanak’s tragic death. Anjana and Bablu are convinced there’s a connection, but Arshi quickly dismisses their theory, offering her own explanation for what may have led to Jhanak’s demise.

The family attempts to steer Anirudh toward moving on, suggesting that the circumstances of Jhanak’s death were driven by her personal and professional troubles. They urge him to prioritize his relationship with Arshi, warning that neglecting her feelings could damage their bond. But Anirudh remains unmoved. His defiance enrages Arshi, especially when he draws an unfavorable comparison between her and Jhanak.

Chhoton and Ajanta also try to reason with Anirudh, urging him to accept that Jhanak is gone and that he must begin the process of healing. Yet, Anirudh stands firm, declaring that he won’t rest until he brings Jhanak’s killer to justice.

He then stuns the family by claiming that Jhanak was Brijbhushan’s daughter, igniting a wave of questions and confusion among them. Anirudh vows to expose Brijbhushan’s true identity, believing this will finally bring closure to Jhanak’s story.

The next morning, Jhanak confronts Brijbhushan with questions about her father. His reply is cryptic—he tells her that she has already met her father, but urges her to be patient and wait for the full truth to come to light.

Meanwhile, Shrishti meets with Kulbhushan, and they reflect on the recent performance and the mysterious figure of Nutan. They are both stunned by the reappearance of the real Brijbhushan after so many years, leaving them with even more questions surrounding Nutan’s identity. In a moment of vulnerability, Jhanak states her desire clearly—she just wants to hear the truth, nothing but the truth.
