Anupama update Monday 12 May 2025

Episode begins with Sattu bringing the clients to Anupama’s house. One of the ladies notices two separate tables and questions why there are different dishes if the company and venue are the same. Anupama explains that it’s intentional, designed to offer variety through two curated menus under the same brand.

Prem adds that if they like the quality, they can later discuss the quantity. Rahi assures the clients they can cater from 100 to 1000 people without compromising quality. The clients begin tasting the food. Anupama highlights that their masalas are homemade, giving the dishes a touch of traditional flavors from Dadi and Maa. She urges them to sample the second table’s food too. Rahi comments that while money can buy lavishness, it’s the taste that truly earns respect and stays in people’s memories.

Mahi questions why Rahi links food with reputation. Ansh calls it a marketing strategy. The clients try Rahi’s food as well. Sattu asks their opinion. One client responds that both menus are excellent, but what truly won their heart was the Shrikhand. Rahi smiles and exchanges a glance with Anupama. Prem looks surprised, but Anupama signals him to stay quiet.

A flashback shows Anupama walking into the kitchen earlier, discovering the Shrikhand exposed and contaminated. Realizing how crucial the dish was, she discarded the ruined Shrikhand and quickly made a fresh one—without informing Prem or Rahi. Prem had seen her and questioned why she’d help someone who’s technically competing with her. Anupama simply replied, “I’m a mother.”

Back in the present, the client lady announces Rahi’s menu as the winner. Rahi silently thanks Lord Krishna and acknowledges Anupama. Sattu congratulates her. The client hands Rahi an envelope confirming the order and discusses the next steps with Sattu before leaving. Anupama thanks God. Ansh congratulates Rahi, which upsets Mahi. Anupama congratulates her too and offers her sweets. Rahi smugly accepts, saying she’ll eat it to celebrate Anupama’s defeat. She also thanks Prem for his help.

Jigar Bhai arrives with keys for the kitchen space Anupama was eyeing. Toshu questions who called him. Rahi reveals she did and hands over a year’s rent in advance. She proudly declares she’ll take full control now, having won the challenge. Anupama agrees. The family notices Rahi’s rising dominance and express concern over sidelining Anupama. Rahi insists she will run the business her way and prove herself. Anupama compares her to Anuj and silently hopes she’ll succeed.

Later, Rahi replaces the “Anu ki Rasoi” board with “Rahi ki Rasoi.” Family members react—some impressed, others bitter. Dolly comments Rahi has renamed everything. Baa says she always believed Rahi would do something big. Kinjal notes that what Anupama and Toshu couldn’t achieve, Rahi did. Pakhi says Toshu could have succeeded if Anupama hadn’t stopped him. Baa mocks the idea and calls Rahi clever and ambitious.

Anupama and Rahi arrive. Hearing Baa’s words, Rahi sarcastically calls the Shahs as adaptable as chameleons. Anupama sees the new board and gets emotional, recalling when Anuj first put up the original sign. As Rahi attempts to enter the kitchen, Anupama stops her and performs a traditional entry ritual with aarti, flowers, and Gangajal. She then blesses Rahi’s new venture.

Inside, Rahi performs aarti and sings a devotional song. Anupama asks her to seek blessings from her parents. Rahi silently prays to Anuj. Anupama then offers her a cheque book, but Rahi refuses, saying everything is digital now. Anupama advises her to keep learning from elders, emphasizing that good marketing cannot save a bad product. She encourages Rahi, saying she’ll achieve great things like Anuj.

Later, Mahi taunts Rahi not to become arrogant, reminding her she can’t even make tea. Rahi dismisses her and mocks both Mahi and Anupama. Mahi storms off. Anupama and Prem witness the exchange. Prem offers to reveal the truth about the Shrikhand, but Anupama stops him, saying Rahi’s happiness matters more. Prem worries that Rahi is becoming arrogant and reflects on how unusual it is to see a mother happy in defeat.

Meanwhile, Toshu brags to Pakhi, Kinjal, and Dolly that he had sabotaged the Shrikhand with powder. They speculate who fixed it—perhaps Anupama or Prem. Baa overhears and scolds them, warning that Rahi is no Anupama—she won’t forgive betrayal. She says if Rahi wanted, she could rename the entire Shah house as “Rahi Mansion.” As they talk, Rahi enters. Everyone quickly fakes smiles and congratulations. Rahi pretends not to notice and plays along. Anupama arrives and says Rahi likes carrot halwa. Rahi smugly says she doesn’t like it anymore—her preferences have changed.
