Saras and Kumud update Thursday 29 May 2025

The episode begins with Danny approaching Ghuman, who is visibly upset and crying. Concerned, Danny asks her what’s wrong and why she’s crying. Ghuman tries to brush it off, saying something got into her eye. Danny notices a pair of Ghungroos nearby and questions who brought them. Ghuman quickly hides the Ghungroos in a cupboard and insists that Danny stop asking, telling him she can’t handle more stress. She urges him to let it go.

Despite her protests, Danny keeps pressing for answers. Eventually, Ghuman reveals that Kusum gave her the Ghungroos, telling her they symbolize her identity. Danny is shocked and shares how Vidyachatur insulted him by saying he couldn’t marry a dancer. He endured that insult, but now his son represents his identity. Ghuman explains that Kusum not only gave her the Ghungroos but also encouraged her to dance. Danny, touched but frustrated, hugs her and says “enough, Mum.”

Anger boiling inside, Danny storms off to confront Kusum. Ghuman pleads with him not to tell Kusum about their conversation. Danny shouts for Kusum, who arrives wondering what’s going on. Danny demands to know if Kusum gave the Ghungroos to his mother and why she did it. Ghuman asks Danny to calm down, but Danny refuses. He accuses Kusum of insulting Ghuman intentionally. Kusum defends herself, saying she didn’t mean any harm and was only encouraging Ghuman. She insists Danny is misunderstanding the situation.

Danny is unconvinced, accusing Kusum of stirring up painful memories to get revenge. At that moment, Saras and Kumud arrive, shocked to see the tension and argument between them.

Ghuman tries to calm Danny, but he harshly tells her not to speak about his mother anymore, saying she doesn’t deserve to mention her. Saras scolds Danny, who retorts that Kusum’s actions hurt Ghuman deeply. He says he can fight anyone for Ghuman’s sake, even Kusum. Saras asks what exactly happened, but Danny refuses to explain and storms off. Kusum breaks down in tears and leaves.

Ghuman stops Kumud and reveals that despite her efforts to calm Danny, he couldn’t forgive Kusum this time. She challenges Kumud, questioning if she still believes in their love and dares her to fight alone. Kumud suspects Ghuman orchestrated the conflict. Ghuman smiles slyly, suggesting that Danny’s anger will grow into hatred, and warns Kumud that the battle has begun.

Soon, Saras approaches Kusum and Kumud, asking Kusum to explain. Kusum shares everything, saying she only wanted to encourage Ghuman to dance if it made her happy, but Danny misunderstood her intentions. Saras expresses frustration with Danny, saying he never gives Kusum a chance to explain and that his behavior is unfair. Kumud advises patience, explaining that Danny felt his wife was attacking his mother and won’t listen right now. Saras agrees to bring Danny home without confrontation.

Kumud comforts Kusum, reassuring her that Danny’s doubts will fade and their trust will strengthen over time. She promises to protect their relationship from outside interference. Meanwhile, Ghuman calls Danny, asking him to come home because Kusum is his wife. After ending the call, she smiles mischievously and vows to deepen the rift between Kusum and Danny before they can reconcile.

Outside the house, Ghuman receives a mysterious gift—a mirror—from Kabir, who flirts with her over the phone. He urges her to open it, and when she sees her reflection, she smiles. Kabir teases that he’s happy to see her smile and hints that Danny won’t be pleased if he finds out about their exchange. Ghuman chuckles, assuring him she won’t tell.

Back inside, Saras tries to calm Danny, who says he doesn’t want to see Kusum’s face right now. Saras encourages him to go home and relax, assuring him he’ll feel better with time. Danny admits he can’t find peace at home because of the tension. Saras gently insists he come inside and stay calm. Meanwhile, Kusum waits anxiously for their return. When Danny arrives, Kusum runs to him, but he retreats to his room and lays down on the sofa with his pillow and blanket. Kusum cries quietly. Ghuman advises Kusum to give Danny some space and wait until he wakes up feeling better before trying to talk. Saras watches Ghuman thoughtfully as Danny falls asleep.

Later, Kumud reflects on Ghuman’s manipulations and wonders how to handle the situation. Saras approaches her and apologizes for the troubles. Kumud asks why he’s sorry, and Saras admits he promised to keep her happy but only brought tension instead. He vows they won’t let their troubles affect their marriage anymore.

Kumud reminds Saras that their lives are now intertwined and asks if he can be happy knowing what’s happening between Danny and Kusum. Saras confesses he can’t be happy either and insists they must stay united to overcome these challenges. Kumud acknowledges how she supported him through his pain and says now it’s his turn to support her.
