Soulmates update Sunday 8 June 2025
The episode begins with Sayali confessing her love to Sachin. He reassures her, asking her not to cry, and playfully urges her to pose for photos. He affectionately calls her “Biwi number 1.” Ek Duje Ke Vaaste plays in the background as he snaps pictures, and they share a joyful moment. Aaji then reminds everyone to start preparing for the Krishi Utsav. Roshni mentions that her uncle enjoyed his stay and was happy with everything. Renu smiles, pleased with the compliment.
Sayali, noticing Roshni’s expression, observes that she’s smiling as though a weight has been lifted off her shoulders now that her uncle has left. Sachin jokes, saying Roshni is quite clever, and adds that her uncle should have stayed a little longer, indirectly taunting Roshni. Roshni brushes off the comment and says it’s time to head back home. Paresh and Renu start to argue, but Aaji intervenes, suggesting they stay until the New Year. Riya, feeling bored, adds to the conversation, prompting Aaji to come up with an idea. Anya and others arrive, and Aaji asks if they’ve done as she instructed. The man replies that a game has been arranged based on Aaji’s suggestion. Aaji says they will offer a nice prize to the winner.
Sachin, ever the joker, cracks a few jokes, making everyone laugh. Aaji performs the puja, and everyone joins her in prayer. Afterward, Renu discusses with others outside, expressing her displeasure over Sachin and Sayali’s behavior, particularly when Sachin insults the family. She hopes they don’t win the game, wanting her own side to come out on top to maintain her respect. Roshni reassures her, saying they’ll win. Aaji overhears the conversation and, seeing Sachin and Sayali, decides to take action. She gathers everyone and suggests they play a game of Lagori.
Aaji divides the group into two teams: Paresh will captain the Bahus, and Renu will captain the Sons. Renu insists she’ll play with Roshni and Riya but not with Sachin. Aaji counters, saying he’s her son, and Renu reluctantly agrees. Sachin taunts Renu, saying she only has two sons. Paresh, smiling, declares that the teams are set and the game will be fair. He advises everyone to play sincerely. Sachin and Sayali challenge each other, and Aaji recalls that Sachin used to be the undisputed Lagori champion. Since Akash and Tejas aren’t familiar with the game, she feels the teams are now balanced. Tejas dismisses the importance of the game, saying it’s not the Olympics, and that he has enough trophies already. Sachin pokes fun at him, but Riya, intrigued, admits she doesn’t know how to play. Sayali, eager to help, offers to teach Riya and Roshni how the game works.
As the game begins, Aaji reminds everyone not to hit the ball too hard, especially to avoid injuring the Bahus. Tejas and Akash assure her that they’ll play carefully. The game starts, with Dholida playing in the background. Sachin hits the ball at Riya, knocking her out. Akash, seeing Riya out, apologizes, but she’s upset and walks off. Paresh reassures her, and the game continues. Akash then aims the ball at Roshni, knocking her out as well. Tejas shows concern, but Roshni, irritated, tells him not to act like he cares. Akash urges Tejas to come and play, but Sayali, determined to keep the spirit of the game alive, says, “You can’t win until we lose, the game isn’t over yet.” Sachin, full of confidence, declares, “I’ll defeat you all and win. I’m the Lagori King!”
