Anupama update Tuesday 17 June 2025

The episode begins with Ansh questioning Prem about what he’s doing. Prem replies that his mind is full of unanswered questions. Ansh advises him not to run away from the situation, adding that while he may not care for Prem personally, he does care deeply about Mahi. He urges Prem to hurry up and get ready since Mahi doesn’t want to miss the engagement muhurat. He warns Prem that if Mahi ends up hurt or in tears, he won’t forgive him. Prem calmly responds that Ansh can do whatever he feels like, but for Mahi’s sake, they both should just get through the event.

Meanwhile, Rahi is helping Mahi get dressed for the engagement. Mahi tells her that she hopes Prem falls in love with her after seeing her dressed up. Rahi teases her for being cheesy and asks how she looks. Just then, Anupama enters and compliments her, calling her beautiful. Rahi echoes the same sentiment. However, things take a turn when Mahi notices Prem’s name written in mehendi on Rahi’s hand. She becomes furious and emotional. Anupama questions Rahi about the name, and Rahi tries to explain. But before she can finish, Mahi grabs a marker and angrily crosses out Prem’s name from Rahi’s hand, insisting that the name should be hers alone and no one else should even see it. Anupama is taken aback by Mahi’s extreme reaction. Rahi quietly apologizes and leaves, upset.

In her room, Rahi breaks down in tears. Her inner voice scolds her for sacrificing Prem for Mahi’s sake and urges her to talk to him. But Rahi tells herself this is her fate—to live with darkness, not with happiness. She resolves to find joy in their happiness instead. Later, she tries to mask her feelings by playing the dhol and dancing cheerfully during the celebration. Anupama and Mahi also join in. Prem appears to be cheerful, but it’s clearly forced. The atmosphere lifts further when Babu ji makes a surprise entrance. The whole family welcomes him joyfully. Even Baa gets emotional as she touches his feet. Prem and Mahi perform a dance, and Rahi watches silently, dancing around them with others.

Anupama watches Prem closely and recalls Janki behen’s words. She believes that Lord Krishna won’t let anything unjust happen. She announces a special ritual that Rahi wants to perform for the couple. Rahi brings a large garland and explains that making them wear a single garland together signifies unity in their journey. Anupama asks Baa and Babu ji to do the honors, but Pakhi suggests Rahi should do it since she has contributed so much to the wedding. Rahi performs the ritual and is then asked to bring the rings.

Anupama asks Prem if everything is okay. Mahi jokes that he’s just nervous about tolerating her for a lifetime. Babu ji adds humor by saying he too was scared during his engagement with Leela, which prompts a light moment. Anupama encourages Prem not to worry. As emotions rise, Prem begins to cry. Anupama asks what’s wrong. Meanwhile, Rahi is battling her own emotions as she holds the engagement rings. She drifts into a daydream where Prem places the ring on her finger and confesses his love. Just as she’s about to hug him in the vision, she bumps into a cupboard and snaps back to reality. She blames herself, believing Mahi deserves the ring, not her.

Back outside, when Anupama asks why Rahi is taking so long, Baa grows concerned. Pakhi and Ishu suggest she may have lost the ring. Anupama reassures them. Baa tries to comfort a visibly upset Mahi. Anupama sends Pari to check on Rahi. Pari knocks on Rahi’s door and asks if she’s okay. Rahi eventually lets her in. Pari asks where the rings are, especially Mahi’s. Rahi shows her finger with the ring and says she doesn’t know why she ended up wearing it. Pari insists that Rahi deserves Prem and maybe destiny played a part in her wearing the ring. Rahi begs her not to tell anyone—not Prem, not Mahi, not even Anupama—and instead asks her to look online for ways to remove the ring.

Meanwhile, back in the hall, everyone grows impatient. Mahi accuses Rahi of sabotaging the engagement. Prem defends Rahi, asking Mahi to calm down. Anupama decides to go check, while Prem excuses himself, saying he needs to use the washroom. Pakhi whispers that some drama is bound to unfold, and Ishu says it’ll be entertaining.

In the room, Pari is still searching for ways to remove the ring and heads out to get something. Just then, Prem walks in and finds Rahi with the ring still on her finger. She insists she didn’t mean to wear it. He responds emotionally, saying that if she had wanted it, she could’ve just told him. He doesn’t want her to be accused of anything unfairly and uses a paper trick to remove the ring gently. He tells her it hurts more than she realizes and asks if there’s truly no hope left between them. Rahi breaks down. At that moment, Anupama enters and sees them. Rahi lets go of Prem’s hand.

Anupama asks what’s going on. Prem quickly explains that he came to use the washroom and found Rahi looking for the ring, so he helped her. When Anupama questions how he arrived before her, Pari steps in and covers for them, saying they were looking for the tray and Prem must have come while she was away. Rahi quietly places the rings on the new tray, and they all leave the room.
