Soulmate update Wednesday 9 April 2025

Soulmate: The episode begins with Sayali recalling Renu instructing her to clean the room. Renu then asks where Akash and Riya will sleep, mentioning that there’s no other room available.

Sayali questions why they must use this room, and Renu scolds her in response. She tells Sayali to convince Sachin when he returns home. Sayali agrees, and Renu assures her that this situation will only last for a few days, and she will discuss it with Paresh to resolve the matter.

The flashback ends. Sayali explains to Sachin that she didn’t decorate the room for them but for Akash and Riya’s first night. Sachin, shocked, argues that it’s their room.

She points out that there is no other available room in the house. Sachin, still upset, asks why she did it, and she explains that Renu had instructed her. He storms out angrily, calling for Akash. Tejas and Roshni arrive, and Sachin demands that Akash come out.

Sayali informs him that Akash and Riya have gone out. Sachin refuses to let them use his room, insisting that Sayali call Akash back. Renu arrives, and Sachin argues with her, stating he won’t support Akash and Riya. Roshni defends Renu, stating that she is just fulfilling her responsibility. Sachin, however, refuses to sacrifice his room.

Renu calmly responds, saying that Akash and Riya can stay in the room for a few days, after which she will make alternative arrangements.

Sachin remains firm, saying he won’t give up his room. Tejas, puzzled, asks what the issue is. Sachin tells Tejas to offer his room to Akash. Tejas replies that the room is already decorated and adds that he wants to sleep now.

He and Roshni leave. Sachin grumbles that Tejas won’t give his room and that he’s only staying quiet because of their father. He says he will discuss it with him later.

Sayali, trying to calm the situation, tells Sachin that their father is at the union office with Kishor. She urges him to come with her. The two argue, with Sayali trying to explain things to him, but Sachin threatens that she will face trouble if anything goes wrong.

Sayali insists that he not go to the room. Sachin responds that he will get the carpet and suggests she might end up sleeping outside the room. He leaves. Renu asks if Sachin agreed to the arrangement. Sayali confirms that he will sleep on the terrace and informs Renu to send all of his belongings there. Renu nods, and Sayali heads out.

Renu taunts Sayali again, but Sayali snaps back, clearly frustrated, and walks away. Soon, Akash and Riya arrive home, and Renu warmly greets them. She then directs Akash and Riya to the room.

Akash, surprised, points out that it’s Sachin’s room. Renu informs him that Sachin will be sleeping on the terrace and encourages them to go and get ready, as there are some rituals to perform. Riya, confused, asks what rituals Renu is referring to.

Sayali explains that Renu is talking about the traditional wedding rituals. Akash, still not understanding, asks what the rituals are. Renu brushes off his question and tells him to go to the room and take a bath. Akash agrees and heads towards the room.

Inside, Akash smiles as he takes in the decorated room. Riya asks Renu again about the rituals. Renu tries to explain, but Riya cuts her off, teasing that Sayali can explain everything clearly, as Akash and her already completed their first night.

Akash, flustered, quickly shuts the door and says he’ll be back after his bath. Renu is taken aback, and Riya laughs, confirming that everything has already happened. Sayali and Roshni smile at the exchange.

Renu scolds Riya for being so open about it, urging her to go get ready. Sayali tries to encourage Riya to go, while Renu mutters in frustration, remarking that Riya isn’t shy.

Roshni, still amused, comments that Riya didn’t clarify whether it happened before or after the wedding. Renu defends her son, insisting that he is a good boy. Roshni jokes, and Renu dismisses it, telling everyone to forget it.

Roshni helps Riya get ready, and Renu compliments Riya on her appearance. Roshni notices that Renu is treating her with warmth, a contrast to her usual demeanor.

Riya thanks Roshni and mentions how Akash helped her with the saree, but she couldn’t manage to drape it correctly. Renu praises Roshni for her efforts. Roshni applies makeup to Riya, and Sayali continues working in the kitchen. Renu calls out to Sayali, instructing her to add dry fruit powder to the milk, before taunting her again and leaving.
