Jhanak update Thursday 6 March 2025

Jhanak: The episode begins with Appu and Jhanak discussing Lalon. Jhanak reassures Appu that everyone loves her. Appu asks who specifically, and Jhanak mentions her mother. Appu insists that her mother loves her deeply and would miss her. She then asks Jhanak if she misses her own mother, reminding Jhanak of Urvashi. Appu playfully suggests that she would have asked Urvashi to get Jhanak married to Anirudh.

Just then, Anjana arrives and asks Jhanak to feed Appu. She notices Jhanak’s sadness and asks what happened. Appu innocently explains that she asked Jhanak about her mother, which made her upset. Anjana gets annoyed. Meanwhile, Appu expresses that she will miss both Ani and Jhanak, imagining them having a baby daughter she could play with. Bipasha overhears this conversation.

Anjana asks Jhanak to follow her, but Appu resists, saying she wants Jhanak to stay. Bipasha scolds Appu, and Jhanak intervenes, telling Bipasha to stay within her limits. Bipasha gets furious and argues with Anjana, then proceeds to insult Jhanak. When Jhanak stands up for herself, Bipasha grabs her hand aggressively and, in the commotion, pushes Anjana. The food plate falls to the floor, and Appu starts crying. Bipasha accuses Jhanak of wasting food despite not earning money. Jhanak defends herself, saying it was Bipasha who pushed Anjana. Bipasha yells at her and threatens to show her place. Appu, frightened, says she will call Lalon. Bipasha mocks her, questioning whether poor Lalon would dare challenge her. She pushes Appu and declares she will report everything to Kaku and Kaki. Jhanak comforts a distressed Appu, while Anjana picks up the food and apologizes.

Mimi arrives home and meets everyone. Shubh explains that Mimi had called him the previous night, asking to be picked up as she had a surprise for everyone. Mimi enthusiastically asks about Arshi, referring to her as her new sister-in-law, and congratulates the family on Appu’s wedding. She mentions how she had a disagreement with her father about Appu’s marriage but ultimately supported it. Shubh acknowledges that Appu has matured and deserves to make her own life decisions. He now believes they should celebrate her happiness rather than oppose it. Choton assures everyone that Lalon is a good man, explaining that Lalon’s father was deceived, leaving them in poverty, but under different circumstances, he would have been well-off. Bablu, however, remains skeptical, stating that Appu is too naive to understand the situation.

Appu excitedly announces Mimi’s arrival and rushes to hug her, happily sharing that she is getting married and that a puja ritual is planned for the day. Shubh and Lal exchange concerned glances, recalling the inspector’s warning. Shubh reassures Appu that she should not worry—her wedding will take place in their home. He then plays along, acting supportive. Mimi expresses her happiness, stating that there are so many surprises at once and that Appu has made the right decision.

Anjana instructs Choton to inform Mrinalini about the wedding, but he hesitates, suggesting that she do it herself. Shubh insists that the news be shared properly, emphasizing that the wedding will now be held in their home. He advises Choton to invite Mrinalini first. Dadu jokingly taunts Choton, making everyone smile.

Mimi then turns to Jhanak and asks how long she plans to stay. Jhanak replies that she will remain until Appu’s wedding. Bablu interjects, saying that while his son and daughter-in-law did not support them, they want Jhanak to stay. Lal agrees, suggesting that Jhanak should remain with them. Just then, Anirudh and Arshi arrive. Mimi hugs them warmly. Arshi asserts that Lal is right—Jhanak has no work elsewhere and should continue working in the Bose household with Anirudh. Jhanak agrees, saying that she has an important role to fulfill, which everyone is aware of. Curious, Mimi asks what that work is, but Shubh quickly diverts the conversation, instructing her to freshen up first. Mimi obliges and leaves.

Meanwhile, Jhanak prepares to feed kachori to Appu, who excitedly says that Lalon will also feed her. Shubh, however, thinks to himself that Appu has no idea what is about to happen. He then informs Anirudh that the wedding will take place at home. Anirudh questions the sudden change in plans. Shubh simply tells him to accept it, explaining that Mimi convinced him, so he agreed. He then adds that they will gift Appu a flat. Bablu objects, saying that she will receive whatever fate has in store for her—Lalon will work hard and provide a house. Shubh scoffs, questioning how she will adjust to life in a humble locality.

Appu confidently declares that she will be happy wherever she is with Lalon. As she continues to chat excitedly, Lal privately expresses his concern about whether their plan will succeed. Shubh reassures him, reminding him of his connections with the commissioner. He advises Lal to stay calm and act normal, hiding their true intentions.
