Saras and Kumud update Friday 2 May 2025

The episode begins with Saras telling Kumud that he can never forgive his father, Laxminandan. Laxminandan, feeling heartbroken, speaks to Vidyachatur about the hatred he saw in Saras’s eyes. He acknowledges the deep wounds he’s caused and feels that the time for mending has passed. Laxminandan decides it would be better for Saras if he stays away from him and prepares to leave.

Meanwhile, Kumud reflects on Saras’s harsh words regarding his father. She calls Saras to ask him to join her for breakfast, but he’s in a hurry. She urges him to put aside his anger and reconcile with his father. Saras, however, dismisses her request, saying the matter is over and that he’s too busy to talk further. He quickly leaves, not allowing time for any conversation.

Danny prepares to leave, telling Kusum goodbye. Kusum, sensing a shift in Saras’s mood, asks Kumud about his Valentine’s Day plans, but Kumud worries that Saras might have forgotten. Kusum reassures her that Danny is planning a surprise, but Kumud remains uncertain.

Vidyachatur talks to Laxminandan about Saras’s importance and urges him to remain close. He believes that staying near Saras will allow him to understand and eventually heal. However, Laxminandan, fearing he may drive them apart, decides to leave. He reveals a threatening letter he received, which shocks Vidyachatur.

Elsewhere, Kalika receives a call demanding money and starts to worry. She asks Yash for money, but he can only give her a small amount. Kalika needs more, so she tries to figure out how to get the rest.

Back with Kumud and Kusum, Kusum urges Kumud to call Saras and remind him about Valentine’s Day. When Kumud does, Saras claims to have forgotten something important at home and asks her to retrieve it. Expecting a romantic gift, Kumud opens the shelf only to find a red file. Saras laughs and tells her it’s office work, making her feel both disappointed and amused.

Later, Saras calls back, confirming he had forgotten an office task. Kumud smiles, knowing the work pressure is to blame for his forgetfulness. He arranges to send something special to her to make it up, but Kumud is still unsure.

Kalika, meanwhile, steals Kumud’s bangles while she’s distracted, planning something for herself. When Kumud notices, Kalika tries to cover, saying she admires the bangles. Kumud is suspicious but continues her day, making plans to remind Saras about Valentine’s Day.

Later, Saras finally realizes the significance of the day after speaking to Danny and hurrying to Kumud. He surprises her with roses, and she sarcastically asks why he came through the window instead of the door. He insists that he does it to prove his undying love, telling her he will never forget Valentine’s Day again. He gives her a bouquet and expresses his deep affection.

Saras then takes Kumud on a surprise outing, driving her to a stop when he spots a bird on the ground. Kumud helps the bird and relates its situation to the love they share, explaining that just as the bird cannot live without its partner, neither can they. Saras, touched, agrees to find the bird’s partner, symbolizing his desire to always be by Kumud’s side.

The episode is filled with emotional moments as Saras and Kumud navigate love, family struggles, and the promise of never letting go.
